Fantastic result.
This loss will haunt Man C by the time we get to match day 38. Liverpool will have the championship that they so desperately want, unless they completely fall apart, which the past 40 some odd years have shown us, is very likely.
When I was a youth my favourite Sabre Dman was Hajt. Liked his game and modelled mine after him. Adopted #24 and it is the only number that I ever wore up until retirement after college. I never played at a more organzed level other than High School and College House League. I blew out my knee, kind of, at an early age.
Listening to Sandinista while working on preping for a call with the IRS tomorrow and checking on the score once in a while ... that's more like it on that last drive, eh?
If he turns into the closest thing to Bobby Orr since Bobby Orr, which seems likely, there is no way the Sabres offer, nor will he accept, that little. I really don't think any recent UFA, or RFA, signings will have any impact on his next contract.
He is fantastic at managing a team. He went to England and really turned a nothing side into a very well run EPL team. That most often does not lead to a championship, as the EPL is the most notorious league for having championships bought, most recently with Middle East oil money.
I think that he was brought in for a bigger role, but the coach was the available position and might as well have him turn around the players first and then move on to running the team as President.
No. Not elite, but a decent starter and a very solid backup / fill in when the Sabres are good in a few years. I think that guy with the long name that starts with 'L' will be an excellent starting goalie, maybe elite.
