I watched a lot of Drouin in 2013 when he was a Moosehead. Sure, that was a stacked team, but I still think he will be a very good player. So, I would make that trade.

Not only was he charged with turning the Sabres around, but to get to his turning around starting point he was mandated to undo much of what Murray had done. That took almost 2 offseasons. So, to answer your question, IMO, he should have 5 offseasons. We are finishing up #3, so 2 more and the Sabres should be good. Maybe not scary good, but in the playoff each year and on the way to scary good. The next offseason will be a big one with several contracts coming off the books. If he signs more than 1, or 2, of those guys then he should be fired on the spot, if not sooner. Am I doing that right @Ho-Chi-Sock?

I hear you. As for my own youth, I did some self-reflection this weekend, and most of the things I did from 15 through 22 I am not very proud of. That said, I am not the Prime Minister of Canada and I certainly do not throw stones at others for their past behaviour.

Yeah, many seem to not care, but many do. I agree, that this may help with the election of Scheer, who is basically Doug Ford, but not as funny. The way the elections are set up in Canada the chances of Trudeau being re-elected are pretty good, with his strong support in Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Ontario. The Concervatives are very strong in the Prairie provinces, with BC pretty mixed. Either way, my bet is a Minority Government, which is probably best since it will force the governing party to work with the other parties to get stuff done. I will get over this and if you meant the collective you then I think we Canadians will get over it too.
