The first pages in here after game start were just brutal. Granted the Bills and especially Josh were brutal. I was not worried so early in the game, as were you. Moral of the story ... it's not how you start, but how you finish the game. Huge win.

Apparently, NFL.com is saying that there is less than 1% chance that the Bills don't make it if they lose or tie tonight. Not sure how that is, but it really does not make sense.

The Bills handled a full Fins team easily in week 4. Miami is not at full strength and may rest some guys since they are already in. They probably think the 2 seed would be better and play at home for sure. If Miami loses where do they land in the WC? Does that depend on the Jags game? The Bills are playing well and peaking nicely. As mentioned, they have been in playoff mode for at least 4 games and probably 6. This game is theirs for the taking, but they better be ready. I believe they will be ready and they will dominate. 38 - 17.

I have made the arguement that the Penguins did not tank in either situation you described above. Mario is close. The Penguins still stunk with Mario. Jagr was draffted 5 or 6 years after Mario. Jagr was a rookie when the Penguins won their first cup in 1991. What put them over the top was the fabulous trade with Hartford. They were lucky to be terrible when Crosby was available in the draft. Same for Malkin a year earlier.
