Sabres Fan in NS

NS present and reporting for duty as requested. Sorry for being AWOL for a few days. I was up the country and it snowed, then rained, then froze and then rained and snowed again. Not to mention the wind. It's always windy in the hinterland of the hinterland that is NS. Anyway ... MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! What have I missed so far?

My hatred of the loser point is only outstripped by budding hatred of the very nearly dastardly Leaves from The Great Satan. So, I will allow it and gladly. 3 out of a possible 4 points, but the Leaves got 2, instead of 1, thanks to the infinate wisdom of the astoudedly stupid NHL.

@dudacek, I did not see the game, but form the highlights and such the Sabres came out a little flat and were down 2 - 0 early in the second. I don't think the Sabres played that badly, but the fan base is ornery and tend to wilt at the first sign of adversity. The Sabres stormed back and really battled hard. They made the Leaf defense look like idiots. They seemed to follow the plan and executed it very well.

The Sabres won, which is great. And, as of right now they are back in the playoffs, as the 3rd place team in the Adams division. 1 point behind Florida and a lot of points behind the dastardly Bruins.

@SwampD is on bass. His brother is on drums and then there's the other guy. They are very talented and I like the sound. Seems like a mix of Yes, a little King Crimson and a bit of later day Rush all mixed up nicely.

The sole reason for all of this is the misguided decision to tank 2+ years. The tank was a crap shoot at best and it failed. The first attempted rebuild failed and here we are in a very slow climb out of the depths. That is all I have to say. It's Thanksgiving, after all.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I really do hope that we all have someone(s) / something(s) to be thankful for. If any of us don't then we, in the collective, are not doing enough for those folks. As a Canadian my Thanksgiving was in October, but I welcome the opportunity to thank my wife for being the kindest, most caring and loving person I have ever known. @Neo, your Thanksgiving sounds fantastic.
