I think Samson has been playing pretty well and pretty steady since his bridge contract was signed. I can see a 8 year / $7.5+ AAV contract for him. As for Dahlin, I think the Sabres will have to pay for his 'potential', in much the same way that they did for Eich. So, I would expect a 8 year / $9.5 AAV contract for him.

Eventually I think one of the mods will merge the new one into this one. It may take some time, as being a mod here is not a full time gig.
