  1. I think Miller would be a notch, or two, above Edwards and then Sauve. Crozier was great and if he was at the top of his game in 1975 then who knows what might have happened. DesJardins was brought in '75 for the playoffs and he kind of ran out of gas, or something.
  2. It"s not a real link, my dear. It"s just @PASabreFan, being @PASabreFan.
  3. @Derrico, no need for a sad face, my friend. NS loves you!! You are not part of The Great Satan. No way, no how. Now, if you are sad about my first point in the post, well that's another story. I am sad about that too, but it's not just in Ontario that I feel they are fudging the numbers.
  4. This stinks. Who is this guy? I have always supported him, but some of this stuff is really Mickey Mouse. So Mickey Mousey that even Mickey Mouse wouldn't make a move like that.
  5. First of all, I don't think those numbers are a true reflection. Second, the people in The Great Satan are so full of themselves, they would not allow themselves to test positive, even when they are. True story. (actually, I'm only half way joking on point 2) ...
  6. Those bastages!! We'll get 'em this year!!
  7. I really am starting to believe that good ol' DR wanted nothing to do with it, but agreed to stay on for the burning to the ground phase. Then requested a release. I do not believe that the word 'fired' ws ever used. I don't think it ever is.
  8. Honourary Canuck, eh? And, yes. Yes. I did.
  9. Pics!! We want PICS!! Better yet VIDEOS!! +++++ I am glad that we are able to start laughing again.
  10. Procedure? I hope that it was nothing serious. My apologies, I have not followed every post here, if you posted some details. And a broken toe will also heal, my dear.
  11. It is an immuno surppressant designed to calm a hyperactive immune system. The very nature of it is to calm the immune system in the later stages of COVID-19 infection when the immune system is hyperactive to try to calm it enough that the normal immune system levels would kick in to fight the COVIS-19, which seems counter-intuitive to me. Mind you, I'm no doctor, or scientist, so maybe I'm just blowing stuff out of my ass here ...
  12. The 1999 team was largely a Muckler team still, but ...
  13. LOL!! @Eleven, I really do admire your gumption in maintaining our sanity. Thank you for your service. Darcy all the way. I really do wonder where we would be if he and Lindy were still here doing their things.
  14. Is the first poll for the 4C? And the second poll for the 'matchup guy'? Anyway ... Goose at 4C (that's the way I am voting) Drury for the matchup guy.
  15. How in the blazes did I miss a poll? I have been #stayingtheblazeshome ...
  16. My typing is terrrible ... damn phone!!
  17. I hear ya. There is no one that keeps much liquid investments. That said, a multi-billionare could loose a lot and still have a lot. If you and I were to loose even a little bit relatively speaking we would be in a much bigger pickle. *Quite the pickle I'm in* ...
  18. The bolded is a big issue in most every faith community that I know. There is a United Church of Canada (very different than the US United Church) were we used to live in Bedford, NS, which is completely open and even has welcomed gay ministers. The thing is that none of the scriptures actually condemn homosexuality. It has grown out of peoples fears and has become part of many religion's teachings. And please do not come at me with the Sodam and Gomorrah stuff, especially if you do not know what was the forbidden behavior outlined in The Bible and in The Qur'an.
  19. What I said, or what I was reacting to?
  20. Bang for the (or a, can't remember) buck
  21. I find the thread title confusing when I see it on the main board front page. That's all ...
  22. I'm not buying that for one second. They can afford to run both, but in these times why run a full slate when it's not prudent, nor required.
  23. He did, indeed. I actually don't have a problem with his Eulogy of Castro, when taken in the light of the fact that our PMs late father and Castro were good friends. Castro was in attendance at Pierre's funeral and was an honorary pall bearer. There is a long family and personal history between the two families. I think there was a lot of over-reaction to the Castro Eulogy that started all the twitter nonsense.
