So, I checked your profile, as did many others ... who in the blazes are you? And, the Sabres need a lot. Cozens I think will be a keeper, probably will become a good NHL winger, possibly first line, second line on a good Sabre team.

The weather is perfect for working in the new gardens today. I will be starting soon. There maybe some worthy pics today. We are really just getting started with our gardens here. I think I mentioned that we are moving a large part of our old gardens from the old house. Several trees and large rodos have been moved already and are replanted here. Setting them again with leaves and more pine needles today. It will be a long hard day, but I love it.

Patty wanted to be and was going to be a figure head ... kind of like the Queen of Canada. No risk in that, really. The hiring of 2 highly regarded up and coming Assistant GMs with a ton of experience in that role? Not too risky, really. The owner becoming President after a scum bucket was forced out? Well, a bit strange, maybe, but not unheard of. Risky? Not really. The interview of Murray was a formality after everyone said that he was a good choice. They could have sent Sabre Tooth, or you, or me along with Patty at that point.

Running a sports team is not like running other businesses. Let's face up to the facts ... we can do it. Is Terry good at running a business, or did he invest well and get lucky in where he rolled the dice in drilling wells? Maybe a bit of both, but I would say that he became very wealth due to his lucky gamble that paid off, more than any great business smarts. They needed the NHL to help them out because, as @PerreaultForever correctly IMO pointed out, they know nothing about hockey and running a hockey team. They trusted who they felt knew this stuff. It has not worked out. My feeling is that it will with RaKru. KA will be fine too, but I really have to believe that Ralphie is running the show here.

What is all this based on? How do you know that there is no chance in hell that KA would not have been hired as GM of any other team? No chance in hell is pretty low probablility, but are you telling me that there's a chance? Correct. All the others did not work out, but not one was very high risk, especially insanely high risk.

Same here, or similar provisions and understandings, but the governments declared a state of emergency which gave certain powers to the medical officers in eaxh province. One being restrictions on travel. We are not so bent out of shape by our goivernments temporarily taking away some liberties up here as you guys are. I think we may be continuing this in the politics club ... LOL!!

We closed inter provincial borders here in NS and I am pretty sure everywhere in Canada, except for essential services, and it helped. Why could you not do the same down there? Oh, right ... you have 'that guy' in charge down there.
