That quote from Ralph is exactly what I expected him to say in public. It means absolutely nothing. IMO, Ralph is the head hockey guy here, not in name right now, but he is.
I love Joe ...
From 1992 (I saw them in The Great Satan on that tour) ... very timely lyric imporivision from Joe ... 'I don't want to fight in a Falkland Street' hey, oh @Sabel79
I also think there is rampant speculation going on here. I think many are reading way too much into this. It is pretty obvious that after a lengthy review the owners decided to go in another completely different direction. Not unlike what happened when they got rid of Murray.
IMO, the non-hockey people hot quote is directed more at the NHL powers that be and concerns the owners not going to listen to NHL advisors any more in making these kinds of hires.
I have said in another thread that I do not buy this cash strapped stuff despite what was said in recent press conferences.
A financial crisis is just what the doctor ordered when you are just not happy with the direction your team is going. Blame the CPAs. Blame the bean counters. No one ever questions those guys and gals. It has happened in my own life experience.
I completely agree and am with you 100% @PASabreFan.
This is exactly what needs to happen and I have a feeling the KA, who is really one of us, will get us there.
No. Don't bail on me. You are no quiter. These bastages are not worth it.
I've got the pirate satellite all reved up and ready to go. We will blast them with radio clash in ... 3 ... 2 ... 1.
I don't disagree with you on this. I think Botterill was a good choice for the job and was given a lot of tools to work with. It didn't work out. On the other hand, it may be that some of the hiring is also suspect, no? There can't be this many good hires that just didn't work out.
I know that. I'm not saying that I could do any better, but I'm not paid to even try. Just an observstion of the revolving door that is the Sabres GM and coaching offices since the Pegula's took over. I understand that they are learning on the fly here and hope that they get it right soon.
Nice, but it does not answer my question. Probably becasue there is no answer to my question. I agree that RaKru is the guy who will ultimately, if not now, be running the whole show.
