I love The Clash. I think everyone knows that. That said, I kind of buy the notion that they sold out when they signed to CBS and ditched the small independant label that they were origionally signed to. And Joe's grand plan to get out of the deal more quickly, by producing a double and then a triple album, backfired when they were told that they only count as one. In the end they never fullfilled the CBS contract with new material, but with compilations. So, there you go.

I have a feeling that @Taro T is enjoying his Lenten break. Ramadan in less than 3 weeks away. I did not take my break last Ramadan on the good advice of @Eleven, but I am looking forward to it again this year.
