I didn't read it that way, just that KA is thinking and looking at every possibility. The next paragraph has me thinking that Elliot does NOT think the Sabres should trade Jack, as the best way to turn this thing around is with Jack. I agree with that. There better not be a *big* rebuild here. I don't think that the Sabres are that far off. A better 2C and a better 2G and we are getting there. I would also keep Hall.

Orr was the greatest player of all time, IMO. It's a shame he spent most of it as a Bruin. They ruined him. He would have been even better in Montreal, NY, Chicago the whole time, or even The Great Satan. Orr gets no pass from me ... DASTARDLY!!

Islanders? That's a neat trick that only these Sabres could pull off ... a loss to a team they are not playing. That said ... Since they are playing NJ ... they will win big and RaKru will be around for another 10+ games. I would be surprised if he does not finish this hopeless season as HC. MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! We talked about this before and I, like you and maybe a handful of others here, think that not signing Samson long-term long ago was a big mistake. Maybe the biggest on that very long list.

I don't dislike any of them. I don't know any of them atoll. The public persona of Ted Black is pretty terrible, so maybe him. None of the people (management and players, but mostly management) involved in the organization since DR and LR left the team have been very good at their jobs. The results proove this. And who is ultimately responsible for that ...

Stephen Brunt and Richard Deitsch on Writers Bloc on Sports Net Radio on Wednesday said they are not sure if Eich will be traded, but both feel that if he is then Samson will be traded too. These guys know their stuff and are hockey insiders. I still say it is a mistake to trade Eich and Samson at this point.
