  6. I think I posted it some place up thread, but just in case I did not ... ... play to win, so DO NOT sit one of your best players. EVER!!
  7. MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! That said, @inkman is on to something too ...
  8. Anything by The Clash and I'm good. And @Taro T the LOL thingie was not for your whole post, just the B. J. part, which I hope would be pretty obvious.
  9. Yes. *Taro says* ... so, yes. It's a good way to put all the discussion about the good recent play in one place.
  10. Welcome back @Taro T. Easter Blessings to you and your family. I agree that the key player in all this is Ullie, but others seem to have stepped up too. I think that reflects on the slightly different coaching approach. The team as a whole really looks to be playing harder, faster and with passion.
  11. Do the Sabres play today? I have no idea what day it is.
  12. The Christian calendar is not lunar. At some point the Christian leadership decided that Christmas needs to be celebrated near one of the highest Pegan holidays, which was / is at the winter solstice. Passover is not Pegan, you must know that. Easter was placed on the Christian calendar to coincide with Passover, as Jesus (you are right, a Jew) returned for Passover. Passover in Judaism must be based on the lunar cycle in some way, but I am uncertain as to how. The last supper is commemorted on Holy Thursday, you are right, which would have been the first night of Passover, which is traditionally the Sedar feast. Although some have a Sedar on the first two nights of Passover.
  13. Partially, but Christmas was placed in December right around the solstice, which was one of the highest of the Pegan Holidays. Jesus returned to Jerusalem for Passover, so it only made sence when they decided to base Easter on his death and rising that it be in line with Passover, which it is. It is intersting to note that if the last supper actually happened, as most Christians believe, that it was a Seder.
  14. You're a clown. If you do not care about wins why follow this, or any other, team?
  15. I know ... that's why I laughed. It was funny.
  16. LOL!! Hyphens (sp ?????) are important. Am I right, @inkman?
  17. Play to win, so no. I am going to have a party when Hall is re-signed.
  18. Both the Islamic and Jewish calendar are based on the luner cycle as opposed to the sun.
  19. I will wish all my Christian Brothers and Sisters a Blessed Easter and all my Jewish Brothers and Sisters a Blessed Passover. It is always the case that those two Blessed days / times happen together, but it is very rare (once every 30 years) that Ramadan starts at very close to the same time. This is that year. Ramadan should start on April 12th. The empty (I prefer empty to new) moon is scheduled for April 12 and the Ramadan Crescent should be sighted and the first fasting day should be April 13th.
  20. Not to mention the fact that laws are written on paper and typed on computers and not always what happens out there in the real world.
  21. 3 of a possible 4 point ... freakin' awesome. That's my perspective.
