I have no idea. Never saw him even once. Don't know exactly where he lives. That said, he's generally nasty on the ice, so it's easy to assume that he is so in real life. That also said, he may be real nice in real life. Just having a little fun in this long offseason that is not officially started for all teams yet. Anyway, I have met Crosby and MacKinnon around town a few times and they both are great.

He is terrible by all accounts. I actually moved out to the coast, in part (not a big part), to be further away from him. Before that he was maybe 5 miles up the road from me, which was really pretty close.

De Bruyne is a real trooper. Substituted in to start the second half with Belguim trailing Denmark 1 - 0. This only about 2 weeks after he broke his nose and eye soccet in Champions League final. Assisted on Begium first goal and scored the winner. Begium moves on to the 16.

I have had nothing to do with my family of birth for over 10 years. My wife has very little contact with any of her family (only her mother who is dimented now and only because my wife wants to). I think we are the sane ones and all you 'family people' are the crazy ones, but if you are in a loving (real loving) family that would be great. I never had that. Since we moved to NS over 20 years ago a very nice lady that lives on the street that we used to until our recent move basically is the mother I never had. I am the son she never had (literally ... she never married and has no children).

New GM and new coach. There will be new players and likely some of the old ones will be gone. So, yes it is a new era. I am hopeful, as always.

Russia defeated Finalnd 1 - 0 in a crucial Group B matchup. Looks like these two will be fighting each other to advance, assuming that Belgium wins the group, which is likely. Turkey and Wales up next.

France 1 Germany 0 In what seemed like a matchup in the final 8, or maybe even final 4. Not the result I expected. I have a feeling that the Germans, as they do so often, will do just enough to sneak through.

In a bit of a stunner (?) Portugal 3 - Hungary 0. Any side that has CR7 is still a formitable side. They are Euro holders for a reason. CR7 scored on a penalty to become the top goal scorer in Euro history with 10. France and Germany up next. I suspect some shenanigans in this one and expect a nil - nil draw, which will virtually guarantee both will advance to the Group of 16 stage.

I think this is a product of the already long offseason.
