Forwards This Season 2021-22 & Beyond

Again, @bob_sauve28 has never said there will be 6 20 goal scorers. He has only ever said he could see 6 potential 20 goal scorers. He never predicted who would score 20. He has said it would be nice and hopes it hapens. He knows potential is not same as actual. Not picking on you in particular, but his posts have been getting a lot of flack. Yours in comparison to many is very mild. -
You know I was a vegan ... ha!! Thanks. I am not some crazy anti-vaxxer. I am just in a position that I can wait. Only because I work from a home office and everyone of my clients can do stuff by Zoom and we can exchange information electronically. That has been encouraged even before COVID.
-
It's more based on my particular situation now. I don't have to do risky behviour ever. I rarely venture into town and when I do it is as safely as possible. COVID is not very serious here right now. So, based on that I am in a position that I can wait a bit. I have not had a face to face meeting in well over a year.
-
Isn't that all you ever do? The clip is very funny, by the way. Funnier the first time you see it though ... ha!!
-
lol Me too. Granted we are talking Charlie here and in his defense the posts were a whole 11+ hours apart. That's a life time in Charlie time.

Sorry, guys, I'm still on the fence. Nothing against you guys or anyone else. Just being careful and waiting a bit longer. I am in a situation and position in my life that I do not feel that is have to rush into something. The vaccine is readily available here in NS and if I call today I can have the vaccine tomorrow and then again in a month, or so. I am generally pro-vaccine, but am being cautious. I am at a point in my life that I do not need to go out and do stuff like I used to. I don't even want to. The risk of me getting COVID are small. The chance of me transmitting it to anyone are even smaller. For me it's a risk / benefit analysis like anything else in life. Right now the risk of COVID is less than the benefit of the vaccine for me. That could change tomorrow, or the next day.
-
Use whatever word you want then. The vaccine does not work in the same way as traditional vaccines in the it targets every cell in your body to have it do something that they ordinarily don't do.
-
Sorry for your troubles. You are not alone.
-
Wrong. And I am not an anti-vaxxer.
-
The scariest part for me is the fact that the Pfiser and Moderna vaccines are mRNA. They are messing with the cell structure of every cell in the body. Traditional vaccines did not do that. In reality these are not building anti-bodies to COVID they are turning every cell in your body into a war machine by way of manipulating the cell structure of EVERY cell in your body. To me that is kind of scary and evil scientist in nature. A big experiment. And people laugh when it's suggested that COVID was created and leaked out of a lab. Anyway, I do not want to get too far down a rabbit hole here. I have work to do ...
-
Okay, you may be right, but do you follow what I am saying about the COVID vaccines versus the polio vaccine? There seems to be a difference. Maybe the difference is not with the vaccines per se, but the disease, which makes the vaccines seem different.
-
In the sense that you have it and you are basically done with it once you know your anti-bodies are set. You won't need a booster. They are already talking about booster shots and are doing them is certain places and in certain cases already.

Robin Lehner trashes Sabres Medical Staff
Sabres Fan in NS replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
That may be. I can't remember exactly what he said and I am not up to relistening. If he did say that then he either does not know what he is talking about or he is on some kind of vendetta. -
Man, Charlie, you are about 11 hours late. Inky posted that just above your post, but 11 hours earlier. Sorry, Charlie, but you are not getting a lol thinking or an awesome thingie for piracy.

I don't know this not to be true, so I will believe it. I did take a look at the wikipedia (not always the best source) and it took about 3 years for enough testing to be done to determin that it worked. Anyway ... The thing is that polio is not like any other virus in that it never mutated very much at all. Once the vaccine was developed (God bless Dr. Salk for doing all his work for the true good of humanity and never patenting his vaccine and no one made money on it) it was good for all the polio viruses and still is. With COVID who knows how many times it has and will continue to mutate. In the end I believe there will be not a true vaccine, like for polio, but yearly shots similar to the annual flu shots.

Robin Lehner trashes Sabres Medical Staff
Sabres Fan in NS replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
I don't think so. I think it's more of a general comment on what happens in certain situations with injuries and other medical issues. It may even be more of a comment directed to the way the league approaches certain medical issues, especially mental health issues. It could be a comment based on society in general and the lack of proper care for many with mental health issues. Teams are going to be conservative in treatments for injuries like Jack's where there is substancial risk. Also, teams are not sure how to handle serious mental health issues, as are many others in our greater society. We always hear of people not getting the help they need, even when they are basically begging for it. I've been there. I know. -
NHL Owners approve Ads on Jerseys Starting for the 2022-23 Season
Sabres Fan in NS replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
This is a great idea, except that the owners are trying for a little cash grab for the ad. We have to find a way for a sponsor to pay for the ad and have it set up as a 'brought to you by' kind of thing. Then each month a local charity will be selected to receive the proceeds of the sweater auction. This could work well and be a win / win. The billionaire owners would get a few shekels and the charity would get a nice pay day too. -

Sorry, no I don't follow Finish football / hockey (??). I know that European hockey ads are way over the top, but they don't have the revenue streams that NHL teams have. -
Yup. Now we have the Federal Conservative Party, but it has only existed since December 2003. It was put together when an alliance of right-wing parties merged with what remained of the Progressive Conservative Party. Before that there was the a mix in the Progressive Conservative Party of Progressives and Conservatives ... Red and Blue Tories. A splinter group of Blue Tories (mostly in Alberta and Saskatchewan) broke away to form the Reform Party. Other even more Blue Tories formed small parties, which all merged into what was called the Alliance Party, which merged with the remnants of the PC Party. Provincially there are many Progressive Conservative Party still around, including here in NS. I did not vote for them, as they are not Progressive enough for me, but they did run on a very Progressive platform. Much more Progressive than the Liberal Party of NS. We shall see if it lasts. Anyway, not sure if that answers your question, so I will just add that ... yes, it is rather oxymoronic. Liberal and Progressive Conservative Parties have long histories in Canada.

Long live the wing!! I have not had them for about 35 years, maybe more.
