Sabres Fan in NS

It took the Bills some time once they decided to move in this direction. This is year 1 for the Sabres in this mode. We need to be patient and trust the process.

A second meeting with a prospective new client today ... my first face to face in what seems like forever ... wore my mask the whole time. This was after a good phone conversation last week. It's very promising, but nothing signed yet. Wants me to meet his bookkeeper first who is off recovering from surgery (nothing major). So, should have the third meeting in about 2 weeks. Should be a formality, but I have been here before and said that before, so we shall see. Big developer and construction type. Has no issue with my rates and mostly working from my office.

Hello Mr. Sunshine. You don't like the Sabres, or the Bills, so why are you posting here? Anyway, you are welcome here Debbie (as in Downer). Also, I see 3 very winable games ... Ducks, Leaves and Sharks. Yeah maybe 3 of 10 is not very good, but better than zero. Maybe even the Penguins.

This election is still way to close to call and to close for comfort.

Coyotes are only plentiful out here in the 'country'. 30 minutes away in the 'city' there are none, but they are venturing closer to the fringe suburbs, which have enough 'wild' areas to support their incursions on a nightly basis. So, you are right about out here, but they probably don't have much impact yet in the city. I have not seen one stray house cat, or dog, out here. There is one 'homeless' beautiful cat here, but he is not really 'homeless' he just wanders from home to home at his leasure. Beautiful orange tabby.

I hear you. I hate that some bad stuff happens sometimes. Our new neighbour recently (6 months ago) adopted a rescued dog (a puppy mill mother) that actually came from Texas. We have a shortage of adoption dogs and cats here now. The local spay and neuter plan for strays seems to have worked very well.

It's really going down to the wire. Jays, dastardly Yankees and even more dastardly Red Sox all tied for the WC. Others are fading with about 12 games left for Jays and Yankees and 10 (I think) for the Sox. Pitching ultimately wins and the Jays have that going for them. The bats have been on fire basically all season. The offense has never been the issue and now the pitching has caught up. If the pitching holds the Jays will be the 1 WC and then watch out.

It's Thursday already? Damn!! Another week has quietly slipped by. No other complaints really.

He looks great. He will find a great home. All will end on a happy note.

I was tempted to vote option #1, but I am not quite there. Not only that, but he is a huge jerk that has no clue what he is talking about. 'Sabres are openly tanking' ... really? What an ass.

You just don't get it. Trolling on this message board and any other one is defined as ... when a poster posts something to get a certain response and they know that they will get it. When you post something like ... the Steelers are not good you guys gave them the game and it's embarrasing ... that will get a certain response and the poster needs to realize that. When the poster is called out for trolling they are trolling. When the poster gets the response they know is coming and the response they are expecting it is trolling. You, obviously, do not get it, but you are trolling in this thread. It's not always what you say (often is), but the way you say it. Anyway, I reported you for trolling. I think we have a few too many #'s up there already. There can't be much more space up there for a real star when their # really belongs up there. I don't think 30 should be retired for Miller. He was good ... very good ... very, very good ... not sweater # retirement good.
