The whole season for the Jays will likely come down to the next three games against the Yankees. Of course, the same can be said for the Yankees. Sort of. The Yankees are 2 up on the Jays. The Jays close out with three against Baltimore while the Yankees close with three against the Rays. Easier route, in theory, for the Jays. The Jays close out at home for the last six. The Yankees are on the road in Toronto and then at home (I think) against the Rays. The dastardly Red Sox will likely be the 1WC since they close out against Baltimore and then the Expos. Right now the Jays are 2 games behind the Yankees and 1 behind the Red Sox. It's easy to see the Sox going 4 and 2. Maybe even 5 and 1. Very possibly sweep out. Bottom line for me is that the Jays need (not absolutely) to sweep the last 6 games. If they go 4 and 2 that may not be quite enough, but they likely will need to get to 92 wins, which is 5 more. It's a tough go. If they sweep the Yankees they will be 1 up on them with 3 games to go against Baltimore and the Yankees will play 3 against the Rays, who have nothing really to play for at this point. The ods calculations have the Red Sox at 92% chance at the playoff. Yankees are at about 62% and the Jays about 45%. This is it boys!! I hate everything about The Great Satan, but ... GO JAYS!! MUST WIN!!

Hey if it was my thread I would have closed it a long time ago, but it's not mine, so I can't. I am tempted to delete the whole works ... lol!! That said, we are still in the off season until the on season (real games) puck drop, IMO. You are going to have to chase down Charlie and ask him. He's easy to find, just look for a bunch of dudes and dudettes doing Charlie work and he'll be right in there.

Update ... more Seems like this was the case. I got a 'proper' dryer vent cover through Home Depot online and installed it the other day. No mice since. It's been 3 days. I got a two pack of the Capsure smaller version and it worked very well. Caught one mouse the first night and a second that came in to check on his buddy left by the way he had come in (looks very much like the dryer vent).

So, everything has been moved here. This place drives me crazy sometimes, but I just can't stay away. You guys and dolls are even more dysfunctional than the family of my birth, but I love you all way more than them. So, here we are. And I got more done today than I thought I would all week, so yous will have to put up with me, although I probably won't be around as constantly as usual. Maybe.

Love you, Taro, but this won't help. He wanted a light hearted and happy thread for once and he mostly got it, but the usual suspects dumped in here too.

At the risk of ruining this thread ... That is not the reason. He had it, so he has natural anti-bodies, which are far stronger and better than the vaccine. There is some indication that getting the vaccine if you have had COVID can be counter productive and possibly dangerous.

I think he will make the team and will start in a sheltered bottom 6 role. I can see him becoming the #4 on the second pairing with a veteran like Miller.

You're right. I was only horsing around. The CBC is actually pretty good. We do pay a lot for it though. Largely tax payer funded.

I'd be happy if they live up to my initial expectation ... not very terrible. I actually think that they will be a lot better than that.

ESPN took over from the NHL Network. I don't think any games are directly through the NHL anymore. Give me HNIC, or give me death. It's the only thing that the CBC is good for.
