  1. For full disclosure ... I was born and raised in The Great Satan. My mom is from Buffalo (Elma to be exact) and I spent a lot of my youth and teens there. Went to a number of Bills and Sabre games over the years. My wife is from Montreal and we used to go to a lot of games there (love the old Forum) and travelled from Mississauga to several Sabre games over the years. Basically a Sabre fan since their birth. We moved to Pittsburgh for 2 years and we could not have picked a better time ... 1991 and 1992. Mario shares a birthdate with me ... I am 1 year older. When we moved back to The Greater Satan Area we decided that it was not us. Began to explore and found that we loved Nova Scotia. 23+ years ago we moved here and I have never been back. And here we are ...
  2. Oh the humanity!! @Eleven ??!!??
  3. No worries. Newfoundland is just up the road and across some water from me. They have been doing some digging around as it were and you are right about the date. They have figured out the exact date of the Norse arrival in newfoundland ... well exact year anyway ... 1021.
  4. Thanks, Chief. Not questioning you exactly, but my limited knowledge of the Vikings in this part of the world has them in Newfoundland as the only confirmed location in North America.
  5. Hello, Scotland!! Much Love, New Scotland
  6. Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Far east coast right on the Atlantic. My friends call me NS. I don't have any enemies.
  7. Oh, well ... we'll get 'em next time. Linus was on fire. Maybe the best game of his life.
  8. Well that escalated quickly ... Oooppssies ... MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!!
  9. Another draw for Norwich @Eleven they have turned a corner here. There is still hope for this season. They are DFL, but only 1 point below the relegation line.
  10. Sam will be fine. He was playing pretty well with Sasha. I think he will be back up there. He had a beauty of an assist last game. He will play well wherever he is. Joel Q is figuring it all out.
  11. I nominate @inkman to rename all the Sabres.
  12. Why the ***** would I want his, or anyone elses, used equipment. Do I look like an idiot that wants some kind of rash, or worse. What in the blazes is going on in the world?
  13. They are playing well and as a unit. That is all that matters at this point. I am very encouraged, but it's way to early to say how good these Sabres are. As @nfreeman said, I am looking forward to the next game, which has not been the case in forever.
  14. The dastardly due. Do I really need to say why?
  15. I never hated the Leaves with the same hot and burning hatred I have for the dastardly duo - Bruins and Flyers. That said, beating the NHL team from The Great Satan is alwasy fun.
  16. What a circus all round.
  17. Sorry, meant 327 ... as advertised, my typing is not very goodly My main point was that nothing really has canged. Is that right? I can't read all the recent pages.
  18. The Sabres could lose every game after this one and I would think that the season was a great success if they win tonight. I have a feeling they will do just that and won't lose every game after tonight. JUST BEAT THESE DASTARDLY BRUINS!! MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!!
  19. Last time I logged in we were on page 227 only a day, or 2, ago. Now on page 334 and nothing has changed. Is that right?
  20. The dastardly Bruins are and will always be 'that team'.
  21. This I agree with, but I'd still put him in there. He is tough as nails and can still play the game at a decent level. He won't be a hinderance out there.
  22. Me too, except why the dastardly Bruins? He is one of them now. Made no difference to me that Brad Friggin' Park was mostly a Ranger. None atoll.
