That warning by my Ghost friend was not anywhere near strong enough.

How the hardcore fanbase rank them is an interesting topic. It requires us to put aside our personal preferences and think in total. Tage Tuch Okposo Girginsons Dahlin I only went with players, but coach Granato has to be high up there and even Adams. I believe hardcore fans believe that after 10 years of being lost in the wilderness the Sabres finally have a good combo running the team. I also think that Anderson is universally respected for what he brings to the team and the locker room.

Tage will accept $6.5 x 5 and the Sabres will happily give it to him, but not this summer. The extension will be announced at Christmas time this year. Rasmus D will sign a $9.5 x 6 extension in July 2023.

@The Ghost of Yuri ... Joker is Finnish, which is a much harder language than Swedish. Who knows maybe he speaks Swedish too. Most Europeans speak more than one language and they are neighbours.

None. . I really don't think any top 9 will be traded this offseason. I don't think that KA is ready to give up on any of them. Trades will likely involve pics and / or prospects that KA feels are not going to be part of the team going forward.

You quoted before my edit or just plain old ignored it. I don't think Anderson will play (maybe just a little), but be a coach / mentor for the young kids in net. And I am just kind of stirring the pot with the Pisser / Power thingie. I do think Mark will be signed though to be #7/8.

Same number of teams are making in it in as any other year* The thing is the stinky teams really stink and the good teams are really good (there is a tier 1 and tier 2 of the playoff teams) and really nothing inbetween this year. *not counting that stupidity last year

If by multi year deal you mean a 1 year deal then (or is it than ... I can never keep that straight) deal. 2 years at the most. By that time I am hoping the Sabres have someone a bit better that will beat Hiney-Stroka out of a job with the Sabres. I like him and all, but I think 2 more years of da Stroka will be enough.
