Your friend and mine, Yuri, said that Marner should be the pick back then. Sure he was mocked, but look how it turned out. Yuri was a character alright, but he knew a thing or two about hockey too. Fair point and I get it. $5 or $6 per for VO is a lot and is a pretty big overpay I think. That's the problem. At least it is for me.

Things will happen to change the roster. It happens every offseason. Hopefully, for the better.

I don't think this is going to happen, but if it does ... If I'm KA I do not match. That's a lot of $ for VO and 2023 1st is pretty solid even if it's lower in round 1.

How many do you think *occur* (key word), but never are made public because the other team says don't bother we are going to match and you should target someone else?

Offer Sheets are universally (I think) overpayments. That is not KA's style. The Sabres are not at the point where they can be silly.

I think that this could be a year for some surprises with offer sheets that are not going to be matchable. Not sure if the Sabres will want to get involved at this point. I don't think they are at the *buying* stage in the UFA market or the RFA offer sheet market. I agree with @tom webster that it's likely to be an interesting summer.

You should have seen Albania before they opened it up. We were snuck acrost the boarder by an Albanian living in Montenegro. Spectacular and not one single tourist.

All of that area is very nice. Some parts (coast of Croatia and old Sarajevo) are more stunning than others. They never had a statue of him, but they put one up of her years ago since she is the most famous Sloven ever, sort of. They tore it down in that period where every single statue around the world was torn down just because. The Slovens never had any use for him and felt deserted by her when she left for America.
