I think that KA is a little gun shy after the Hall fiasco. After that it has become clear that he is going to stay away from big UFA signings. I would have liked PK coming in here, but KA looked at it and brought in that former Leaf Dman with the long and complicated name to play the right side. He also addressed the goaler situation better than he did last season. This will be another year of growth for the young players and pushing hard to be in playoff contention to the end of the season. The following season we should see the Sabres push very hard for a playoff spot and that needs to be the goal. Just make it anyway you can for the young players to have that playoff feel and experience.

Am I the only fan that thinks Skinner's deal is reasonable now and will be a bargain in about 2 years (at least cap wise). Bottom line is even if he is overpaid it has not mattered to the plan and it's not any of our money that is paying him. I have had two teeth pulled that were beside each other. The back molar was fine, but the one beside it was dead and needed to a root canal and crown. For me the choice was easy $3000. + or $250. to pull both (the back molar had nothing to support it and it became problematic and was pulled not long after the other tooth). Now I just have 2 holes in my head. My wife has had a lot of dental problems and has had 8 root canals with most crowned. We spent $15,000 bucks, but had no choice. Insurance is the biggest (well one of the biggest) scams there is.

With living in the hinterland way out in the country and 30 minutes from the most major city north of the dastardly Baastan my cell signal is almost always poopie. Slow apps loading and internet browsing for everything. It doesn't matter if I am on WIFI or cell data. There is no differnce. I rarely use mobile for this site. Never been an issue on my laptop. That said, I always blame my damn phone for any posts that make no sense. Am I right @woods-racer (woodsie)??

Hiney-Stroka I don't think is an extra. I think he will dress most games and slot in many places on lines 2, 3 and 4, but mostly with Cozens since they really seemed to have something last season. I have a feeling that Bjork won't be on the roster come October. I think he will be waived and some team will pick him up or he will be traded for something or maybe even nothing. And ... Anderson?? Do you think UPL will start the season with the Sabres and Anderson will sit? That may actually be the plan where Anderson mentors the young goalies mostly in practice and in the dressing room.

As a Muslim I have to say that I love the Pope. I believe he is truly a man of faith. I really believe that he is sincere in his efforts at reconciliation. It is the shame of our nation what we have done and continue to do to our indigenous peoples. The Catholic Church played a key role in running many of the Residential Schools for the government of Canada. These schools were designed to wipe out the culture of the indigenous peoples. It largly worked. Thousands of children went to these schools and never went home. Unmarked graves are being found everywhere. The last one closed in 1996 ... 1996!!
