Is that some new fangled math or am I missing something ?? The Babe has 714. 714 - 697 is not 3. A least I don't think so.

Jeff Skinner will be fine. Another great season on Tage's wing. -

Seems like the Sabres have way too many Caseys hanging around. Surely, they can't all score 20+ this coming season. -
How do you know these things? Anyway, Happy Birthday, SDS!! And thanks for everything.

The Irish are happy now. Even in the North. There is some treaty or other. -
Are you seeing something in that tweet that none of the rest of us are ??

Not surprisingly all football in England (and probably all the UK) has been suspended this weekend. ===== In other news ... Norwich City is doing well in Championship @Eleven.

I think he will start on the second pairing with Power and then likely be shifted down to the 5/6 pairing at some point. Good in the D zone and tough as nails. A good addition. -

Can you post a link to that video? Thanks. I can't find it, but I am probably not looking in the right place or very hard to find it.

Annual expectations thread 2022/23: #45 Casey Fitzgerald
Sabres Fan in NS replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
I think he will be the 7/8 maybe even 9/10, or bust. If he is waived there is about a 60/40 chance that he will be claimed by some other team. I could also see him traded for some pick or other. If the Sabres were further along (similar position as the 2006 team) I think they would keep him up with the team and in the press box until needed by injury necessity. +++++ I like him and his grit, but the Sabres have better options at D now. -

If all unfolds as expected it will be Power. -
Statement game. Statement win. Prime time. Super Bowl championship banner night. A huge win on the road at the Super Bowl champions. Rams coach said that they were not ready. BULL *****!! You had everything just handed to you. The Bills are Prime Time. This is probably the best Bills team ever. Maybe not counting before the merger, which I really don't know much about. It looks like only injuries and stupidity can stop them.

GO BILLS!! MUST WIN!! A possible Superbowl preview.

I am not a huge fan of the Royal Family and what they represent, but that is a discussion for another day and another thread. Maybe not at all. Also, Islam forbids royalty, which is another interesting discussion for another day and another thread. That said, as a Canadian she was my Queen and she was a steady presence for many years. She was 96 and we all have to go at some point. I think the strife she has faced in the last year+ was just too much. RIP!! -
She is my Queen. Long live the Queen. God save the King. I sense a remake being recorded as we speak. https://www.cbc.ca/news

WOW!! https://www.aljazeera.com/sports/2022/9/7/chelsea-sack-manager-thomas-tuchel-after-poor-start-to-season I can only guess that the new owner want's to hire 'their' guy. Too bad the new majority owner knows nothing of football, as far as I can tell.

Next year doesn't matter. THIS is the year that matters. It is probably the year that matters the most since 1991.

I think top 4 is a reasonable goal, especially after a good start to the season. I don't see Brighton sustaining top 4 level play. I think they were just promoted. Who else is up there ?? Tottenham will likely drop down. Man C ... ***** me!! And 3 top flight clubs that I hate are just outside. It will be tough, but they have a chance. I'm with @Hank and am hitching my wagon to Leeds this season as a dark horse, but fun club to watch.

I agree. He could command $10M+ on an 8 year deal. Maybe higher. He will settle on a reasonable $ and term figure. Both sides will be happy. 8 years ... $70M is likely the landing spot, IMO. $8.75 AAV for 8 years. Maybe a bit higher since he is at $6 AAV on his current deal, which has 2 years left. If the Sabres do another bridge we can kiss him goodbye ...
