I was kind of hoping that he and Maris would stay tied at 61. There was something neat about 61 in '61.

They are finer than fine offensively. The starting 3 will be very good. I doubt they will do a 4 man rotation even in a 7 game series. You want your 'ace' pitching a possible game 7 on 3 days rest. Have to do it. The bull pen has had issues this season and if they can get it going with some guys that can give an inning or and sure out in tough situations they will be fine. They will have, I think, two starters in there too. If this all works and it should (??) the Jays have the talent to win the WC. The only team that can match them pretty much position for position and pitcher for pitcher is LA and maybe Houston. I will not be at all surprised if we see LA and The Great Satan still standing in November. With the Jays winning a 6 game WC.

90 (+) wins is very good. #1 WC and home field in the WC against either Seattle or the Rays for 3 games in The Great Satan likely gets them Houston in the Divison Series. Yikes. What a dumb way to do it, but it's MLB.

I am betting the Sabres end it before the Jets. MLB ... now the DASTARDLY PHILLIES!! 12 years. In the EPL West Bromwich Albion holds the current record since winning the title (not exactly a playoff drought, but the EPL does not have a playoff system unless you count Champions League, which always has the same sides playing from the top European leagues) at 107 years (their one and only title came in 1920). I think no to the 'C' that will be KO, but Tuch will likely be wearing an 'A' along with Dahlin. Depending how things go with KO after this season Tuch could be wearing the 'C' next season. If KO signs on as a player for another year he will wear the 'C' and Tuch and Dahlin will wear the 'A's again next season. The season after that I suspect Tuch will wear the 'C' with Dahlin an 'A' and Cozens the other 'A'. I don't suppose that was part of the poll questions ...
