I’m all for a team train wreck led by Gallant or Boudreau at this point. Can’t be any worse than now -
Ralph Krueger needs to go - like yesterday.

I agree 100%. It’s frustrating to watch, and weird how the people writing the checks don’t see it. -

Clearly, pretty much the entire team has already given up. It’s not just Skinner. Bye Ralph. -
I still disagree. The Gods can be angry at the teams for whatever they did, but I’m just a peon of a fan. Don’t punish me. I wasn’t part of whatever the rich people decided to do.
-
I disagree. The Gods were mad far before that. See: McKee injury and Brett Hull illegal goal. If you REALLY wanted to speculate, I think it’s something the Bills did to anger the football Gods, that those Gods passed over to the hockey Gods. Obviously, Tampa Bay of all cities has some good JuJu with the sports Gods somehow.

Is There a Path Forward for Eichel and the Sabres?

The problem is that Terry has sort of said he’s scared of the big names on the market. I think he’s scared of their power. -

This is disappointing. I thought we were in the MIST WUN phase. -
I’d like one meeting with Ralph.

I think the book is only in German. So, I hope you can read platitudes in German. -
The hockey Gods were mad at the Sabres far before the tank. Jay McKees injury? This might stem from Rigas. Maybe even earlier.
-
We tanked to get McJesus. The hockey Gods saw this, and gave us one miserable Eichel.

I think my bolded is what you would call Skinner. Besides Staal and Okposo, he’s the most veteran player on the team. He probably sensed something wrong last season, and is paying the price for saying something. -

Unfortunately, we probably won’t get that chance. This team is way too slow to react and adapt and make changes. Hall is gone at this point, but if his play improves with a better coach, he probably stays. He came here because of Ralph, but might stay if someone better is coaching. I’d gather he’s sick of being stuck on teams that win the lottery. I also think Hall and Eichel play too similar of styles to be effective together, but then again, a very good coach MIGHT be able to change that. We may never know. -

To be fair “to be faaaairrrrrrrr” the players were “running through the walls” for him in the very beginning. Players said they loved him. He’s why Hall came here. Butttttt it seems he grew very stale, very fast. Just move on NOW. The Sabres took a flyer on him, rolled the dice on him, it was a noble gamble. It didn’t work. -
Then it looks idiotic that they let Chris Taylor go for no reason. He was doing very good, and looked on the cusp of landing an NHL position. And, a couple weeks later, he did.

I would like to see what Hall does under a coach not named Ralph, before letting that big fish back into the small pond. -

Maybe that dude that held the “protest” outside of the arena was onto something. Social media was all over it, but only like 6 people showed up, and the Sabres came out and gave them hot chocolate like “thanks for trying!”
