Robin Lehner trashes Sabres Medical Staff
Andrew Amerk replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
I’m not implying anything other than the Sabres and Bills are in completely different stratospheres right now. The poster had said it was hard to imagine both teams having a vastly different quality of staff. I don’t find it hard to imagine when the leadership, rosters, and results are complete opposites. -
Hasek doesn’t count in this case, because at the time, the Sabres weren’t trading for a franchise goalie. He ended up becoming one, unbeknownst at the time to the trade participants.

Robin Lehner trashes Sabres Medical Staff

It’s not that hard to imagine. The Bills are now a Super Bowl contender. The Sabres are the complete opposite - a top overall pick contender, again. -
Clydesdales have always been pretty impressive.
-
Meh. They could still get back together and have a Sabres West.
-
To the bolded, it’s starting to feel that way. Feels like UPL is tentatively penciled in to be in Buffalo learning from Craig. It will be a learning and growing season for much of the roster, and I can see UPL being part of that plan.

I’m ready for a Puck Plate.

If Kim and Kanye have another kid, Sabres West would be a great name option.

If she decided to add a vowel at the end of her name, her odds would likely improve. -
Can the Sabres Franchise Survive Another Tank/Rebuild?
Andrew Amerk replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I’ve been supporting a team that has been somewhere between bad and mediocre since the mid-80’s, aside from a couple years in the late 90’s and a couple seasons around 2006. Last season was the first time since the mid-90’s that I proactively missed games on TV. I am probably not going to watch any this season. I have other things that I’d rather invest my time, money, and emotions in for now. My Sabres basement man-cave isn’t going anywhere. -
Aren’t you that Colorado Rockies mascot?

Tells me that it will probably stay quiet until training camp rolls around. Then we will see just how angry Captain John can get. Maybe even smashing-a-stick-into-a-hockey-net angry. Also known as SASIAHNA.

But why were they only shouting “Dinger” while Brinson was at bat?
-
Not only can the Sabres set the NHL record for consecutive seasons missing the playoffs, but they could also become the first team in NHL history to finish 32nd.

He also appears to worship Satan now.

Can the Sabres Franchise Survive Another Tank/Rebuild?

The problem with the bolded, is that now you are wading into a 10-15 year gap where the team has been terrible. Kids are not kids forever, and not many kids want to be die-hard fans of a team that doesn’t win for that long. It’s different for the Bills to be bad for that long - football is the most popular sport in America. Hockey, not so much. It’s possible that the Sabres lost an entire generation of young fans. Except that expansion teams are immediately better than the Sabres. -
I wanted Skinner back, if he was going to keep playing on the line that got him 40 goals.
-
You make it sound easy, but the Sabres are sitting on a top C that they can’t even trade.

Nathan Mackinnon sounds like jack eichel

None of these were satisfactory reasons to me. 🤷♂️ -
Craig is going to be playing a lot of games and really earning his 740k.

It’s funny how we complained for years that Buffalo didn’t have a solid center spine. Then, for a short time, they had one. Now we are back to complaining about it again. The biggest insult was Samson, who should’ve been a C all this time, but only became one at the end. Years of misery to draft C’s John and Samson and acquire ROR, all gone.

Cant blame Jesus. He hasn’t been the owner or one of the dozen GMs in the last decade.

Can confirm. I don’t follow NASCAR at all, but Watkins Glen is a heckuva fun time. Excellent people watching, and a great atmosphere. I went for years as a kid, and hadn’t been there in about 14 years. It was a fun weekend. I recommend it to anyone next season.
