  1. Thats fine and acceptable, as long as I don’t have to read any posts whining about the Sabres goaltending this season after the team spent 9 freakin years developing Ullmark and let him walk for nothing.
  2. More than playing just the Sabres. In the Covid season, Ullmark posted 2.69 / .915. Pretty solid behind a lousy team. The Sabres gave up the 3rd fewest goals in the Atlantic, but couldn’t score enough, and were almost a .500 team. 2.63 / .917 last season. Won 9 of 20 games. The other 5 goalies combined won 6 of 36 games with a GAA likely around 3.50 I’d be willing to wager Ullmark is more than just an average G when playing behind a team that isn’t awful.
  3. Just turned only 22? This season, likely choice 2, but still has another 4 seasons to potentially become choice 1, if not now.
  4. If you think it hurts now, wait until you see how well he does behind an actual team.
  5. I’m in
  6. Except when Granato finally put Sam at C, and he did well. Then we trade his butt. Phenomenal
  7. The “brass” made it clear they were in charge early in the game when JA wanted to go for it a few times, and they said no. THEN when the brass finally wanted to go for it on a 4th and 1, their brilliant idea was to Chuck it back 10 more yards to try and make the 1 they needed. Outstanding.
  8. The overall game experience sucks. Look to what Vegas does, for example. DJ Malk sucks. The music selection overall during the game sucks. The food sucks. The fact that I went to an alumni game where the first 5000 fans were supposed to get a pennant - but they left them all on a stand where people could just grab however many they wanted, and I didn’t get one - thats bush league. A guy sitting in front of me had probably 50 of them, and I could see him posting them for sale on eBay. Going to a game can be more than the product on the ice. The Sabres are terrible at both.
  9. Nah. With the emergence of NWA in the late 80’s early 90’s, those Kings uniforms were awesome.
  10. Unfortunately, it’s become a common thing here for threads to get derailed. Whether it’s Covid, Eichel, the goaltending, or being a Packers fan, it keeps happening.
  11. I’ve scooped up cheap tickets the last few seasons and driven from Rochester to go to games, even though the team was bad. But even at $8 the in-game experience the team puts on is horrible and not entertaining. It boggles my mind that this team can’t even get the simplest things right.
  12. It’s been almost 2 years of this crap, and I can’t believe there’s a significant amount of people who still don’t get it. This would’ve been much closer to being over if people had just worn masks when asked instead of being defiant, and gotten poked months and months ago instead of sticking with conspiracy theories over science.
  13. He died 10 years ago? I never even heard about it.
  14. I felt like a lot of that was the coaching and play calling. It seemed like he was being expected to follow their plans and plays, rather than being able to make his own decisions independently based on what was happening in real time. I could be wrong. I feel like a JA who is allowed to improvise when plays break down, is the best JA. It’s probably not much different than what we see in the NHL - some players are great in certain systems and structure, while others perform best when allowing them to use their instincts and athleticism.
  15. Brisson, being great at sales, listened to Eichels wants and needs and his pains and pleasures, and accordingly advised him of the proper steps to get what he wants.
  16. So Your source is saying there’s a chance? YEAHHHHHHH!!!
  17. It’s not going to be resolved. The trade window was open, and then closed. I blame COVID.
  18. I’m really pulling for Clay Hanus. It’s an impressionable name.
  19. I’m sure Sabres fans will be flooding to see that episode about the shiny new toy that they won’t even see next year.
  20. WHOAAAAAAAA WUTTTTTTT
  21. Pitt looks pretty legit unless they lose Ruthlesscheeseburger. They have a great D and subpar O that can get enough done most weeks due to good coaching and play calling.
  22. I nominate this for worst post of the year award.
  23. I hope that neither of them were driving.
  24. The atrocious play calling and equally disgusting decision making by the Bills brass is what cost them the game. They assembled all of these offensive weapons, to not be aggressive with them? The Browns aggressiveness in their 1st half against the Chiefs is how the Bills should’ve been against the Steelers. Instead, they decided to be passive. It allowed the Steelers to hang around. There was also a lack of aggressiveness on the D side as well.
  25. The Bills run game is far better than your posting game.
