You seemed to have answered yourself here. As you said, we don’t know what deals were offered. Maybe they were all very lowball offers. Doesn’t mean KA is “lost” if that’s the case. We simply don’t know.

On a team full of Mittsfits and distant Cozens, I can see him helping in the top 6, or equally helping out in the bottom 6. He’s a useful vet that can play anywhere and fit well enough on this ragtag team.

Rivet was very boring as it was. Peters was mildly amusing at times. Overall, a fairly lackluster show. As much as I like Biron, I have no interest in listening to him and Duff talk fluff for an hour. The name of the show needs to be changed as well.

The 90’s gave birth to some great “power forwards” who could score and play physical and fight. Cam Neely, Mike Ricci, Kevin Stevens, Bob Probert come to mind among many others. Some of those players were my favorites growing up, because they had such an amazing blend of talent.

My intuition is having a hard time deciphering whether or not the way KA acts is real or phony. It’s a coin toss.

Right now, John can be traded anywhere. That gives the Sabres 31 trade options. When that NMC kicks in, John can only be traded to a handful of teams (likely the best ones) who will know this and offer much less in a trade.

The hard part of watching this was “Terry just texted me a smile.” Nobody should be smiling about winning the draft lottery. AGAIN. Especially the owner. You shouldn’t be happy about being one of the worst teams in the league for a season, let alone a decade.

John controls his trade destiny as soon as that NMC kicks in.

I think he would’ve re-signed, he just wanted the Sabres to beat their offer. I’m pretty sure we lost Modo over it. For a team that supposedly might struggle to meet the cap floor, it’s odd to me that the Sabres couldn’t match or beat the Bruins.
