    Rather than targeting Helm specifically, I would ordered someone, anyone, to do THE SAME EXACT THING to Jimmy Howard. Then, see how a team about to enter the playoffs feels about potentially losing their starter, just because one of their players wanted to be an idiot.

    Mike Foligno was doing pretty good in Detroit before his trade. 160 points in 186 games. That's .86 points per game. He finished with a career average of .71

    This is awesome. I'm going to get it printed as a poster, and hang it up in the cave! I don't think that he can necessarily "turn players around," I just think that he is able to get the most out of certain players. Stafford and Kane? Yes. Ovechkin and Semin? Doubtful.

    I think Nolan would have a better shot of whipping him into shape than Noel or Maurice or Bylsma.

    I think that the Sabres could elevate to mediocre, if they wanted to. Besides players like Ott, Stastny, and Callahan becoming available, there is an interesting crop of decent vets this year in FA. Plus, it's another year older for all the current kids.
