All these fancy stats, but where are the real important facts? On those days where 48% of his goals came on PP, what did he eat for breakfast? What about the 5v5 days where he got the other 52%? What was his breakfast those days? On days that he didn’t score at all, what did he eat for breakfast? They say that breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day, so I think we need some more info here.

Wow. Thank you. Seemed like a majority of these were on the PP. I knew he’d been doing good work around the net, but seeing the compilation like this gave me even more appreciation for it.

I think this is where I’m at. Its funny how I notice RJ’s errors, and honestly don’t care. I grew up listening to him calling games on my clock radio while I was laying in bed as a kid. It’s comforting listening to him still call games, especially knowing nobody comparable is in the wings, even with his mess ups.

Okposo should’ve been far more relevant in a game against a B squad. He was an albatross on the PP, and was just ineffective in relation to how he should’ve performed. I’m really pulling for him. He can be a difference maker, if he can get his game together.

I appreciate the clarification. I just think the Sabres need him, more than Sam needs Buffalo. I’m willing to bet there’s plenty of teams willing to meet his asking terms. If Botts thinks he’s part of the future, then give him his deal.

I disagree. I think Samson has decent leverage. 22 year old wingers who can play center, if needed, and are good for 25 goals and 60 points a season, don’t grow on trees. Pay the man, and get him used to his new teammates ASAP.
