Playoffs would be nice. Im glad to finally be experiencing them at least with the Amerks again.

I really hope that the team wearing the blue shorts with one red stripe and two white stripes wins this game.

Well, the dump and chase strategy isn’t working for the Amerks.

Game 4 last round, the Amerks played one of the worst games I’ve ever seen in person, but they still managed to win that series. So, who knows. Hopefully this stinker motivates them.

I feel like Utica’s record is a little misleading. When you take away those 13 wins to start the season, they were basically a .500 team after that - they went 30-29 the rest of the season. The Amerks and Laval should match well. The Amerks have an edge with more skilled youth, while Laval has an edge with experienced vets like Paquette, Ouellet, Dea, and Smith-Pelly.

Don't know for sure but it has been BCAPRE for all the other games, so give that a shot.

One of the lousiest hockey games that I have been to in a long time. Amerks did nothing right. I didn’t think any of them played a solid game. Passing was bad, shooting was bad, PP was bad, no energy, very little hustle. Team was chasing the Comets most of the night. Quinn was useless. I don’t think I’ve ever been at a game where a team had their goalie pulled with 12 minutes left in the game. Crowd wasn’t helping much, either, not like on Sunday.

He must’ve had an excellent HS transcript and recommendation letters from his teachers to be able to get accepted into Notre Dame.

My pure speculation, regarding Quinn, is that he’s stuck in his own head at the moment. Yes, Belleville and Utica have given him the business, pressuring him, but he’s been giving it back. He has the skill to overcome it, but his brain is probably overthinking. He wants to be the difference-maker, but he’s gripping the stick instead of relaxing. He had a perfect opportunity to end the game yesterday near the end of the 3rd, wide open in the slot, and he rifled his shot right over the net. The Quinn of the regular season would’ve scored that goal. He has been getting his chances, but the passes and shots haven’t been executed in the way that he can do them. Yet.

Quinn only has 1 point in 5 playoff games. You might be better off with Power, Peyton, and Peterka.

What a great game to experience. I can’t remember the last time I saw BCA sold out for a game. Was cool to chat with veterans like Metcalfe, Hoffard, and Langdon before the game. Refs were almost as terrible as they were at the Belleville game last week. Amerks played hard in the 3rd, and I saw a few Comets rolling their eyes with exhaustion after whistles. Nice to see the boys throwing the body around - even saw Quinn and Rooster throw checks. Pretty sure the corner section I was in heckled Russo bad enough to throw him off his game at the end of the 3rd. Fans were awesome, and the building was LOUD. Cant wait for Tuesday!

I counted 3. I’m not even clear what you are trying to say here. Talent and grit together are bad?

Just curious. When you guys are saying “I want so and so,” have you actually watched them play in full games, or are you basing your want on highlight clips and media opinions?
