What is wrong with Okposo? His career high is 51 PIM in a season. This is now 16 PIM in 10 games. Thats a pace for 131 PIM this season.

My two pennies: I’ve NEVER been a bouncy ball (or shooty hoops) fan. Yet, I WOULD watch MJ in Bulls games when playoffs rolled around. It’s not always exemplified in numbers - he was magical to watch, even in a sport I didn’t like or completely understand. I knew something special was going on. Zero other NBA players have ever gotten me interested in watching the games like Jordan did. I even think I had a Bulls Starter cap at one point. I’ve tried watching playoff games with the other big names, such as Lebron. He’s a special talent, for sure, but he’s never been able to capture my attention and make me watch a sport I don’t like, as MJ did.

I know many of us are excited, but let’s look at some reality. As OP has explained a handful of times, there’s no “wait and see” option for this post for a reason. Skins had zero points in 5 of the first 6 games. Suddenly, he’s put up 5 points in the last 3 games. Should we get all excited and hand him the keys to an AMSA truck full of money based on a couple good games? No way. That’s the reasonable answer to the specific post. Should we wait and see if the production is sustained going forward? Absolutely. We have no idea what spurred his sudden scoring spurt. We don’t know if he will disappear scoring-wise for the next 5 out of 6 games. We don’t know if he will break out for 50 goals the rest of the way.
