I was at an Amerks game with an ex, we were sitting directly below the suites behind the goal, and a woman dumped a beer all over her. Think it was an accident, but she didn’t. She went into a rage and knocked on the door to the suite looking for the woman. We were thrown out.

I’m okay with the point. A game that showed progress over teams of the past. Risto was still trash all game. No reason for him to have been out there with Skins and Jack in OT. Should’ve been Dahlin.

Just as I was praying for them to get out of the period tied, get in the room and regroup, BAM two quick CBJ goals. -Risto playing like trash tonight -Eichel playing like he has the flu or something -Getting beat terribly in all the board battles Lets see what team comes out in the 3rd, will they have already packed it up, or will they come out battling for some points?

1. The 2006 Playoffs. Game 6 against the Canes. Briere scores on the PP in OT to tie up the series. Nail biter of a game. If Canes scored instead, series would’ve been over. Sabres fans are in one of those drunk/happy/rowdy moods. Walking through the crowded hallway to leave, you can hear an altercation happening inside one of the bathrooms, and people are trying to herd to see what is going on. This poor guy in a Canes jersey is on the floor getting kicked and peed on by multiple Sabres fans. Not only did his team just lose, but had to have that happen to him. 2. March 2011. I plan a road trip with my gf at the time to visit some of the major cities east of us, one of which included a Sabres game in Boston. Yes, we went to the game in full Sabres gear. Right from the moment we sat down for warmups, the guy sitting behind us is heckling. I smiled and nodded and tried going about my own business. As the game progresses, he is getting drunker and begins a constant barrage of your garden (get it?) variety of cuss words. IIRC, there were a handful of fights on the ice (I want to say McCormick in a couple, maybe Grier in one, and forget who else) - which is only amplifying this dudes dickish behavior. Sabres win in OT on a Boyes goal, at which point the dude decides to spit a fresh hot loogie onto the back of my neck. My GF gives me the “please don’t” look, but it’s too late. I stand up and feed him a knuckle sandwich that knocks him into the seats behind him. Next thing I know I’m getting swarmed by Bruins fans and security drags me away to answer some questions. I explain I’m from out of town and what happened, gf co-signs the story, and they escort me out. My Hasek jersey sustained a few rips and tears and had to be retired. 3. Bills game, maybe 3 years ago? Think they were playing the Bucs. They gave away some sort of posters at the game that people didn’t seem to care about, as many of them ended up being tossed around as oversized paper airplanes. IIRC, some made it onto the field during the game. During warmups, an elderly lady maybe 10 rows down from us gets clocked in the back of the head. She turns around laughing about it, hoping to spot the culprit. She then gingerly tosses the airplane along, just as everyone else is doing - security sees this and “detains” her. I’m not sure what they did with her, but I never saw her return to those seats. Anytime that guard showed his face for the rest of the game, he was met with very loud booing.

That is no triple.

JBOTTS is proven to believe in development, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Pilut spend the entire season with the Amerks, no matter how much he dominates. Considering everyone on the Sabres D other than Scandy has been okay, it’ll take an injury or two to maybe see Pilut get a callup.

Amerks have picked up 13 of the last possible 14 points.

I feel worse for the Bills STH’s, which includes my poor father.

1. I’m not a STH. Didn’t realize that you were. 2. I have a 1 year old daughter that I have sole custody of. Babysitting options are limited, and I don’t trust her with strangers.

I kinda have a qualm with the goalie categories in Blue, but whatever.

Also. 1. Hope those Habs fans that invaded the barn are enjoying their long ride back home. 2. Hope the STH’s are ashamed of selling their tickets instead of watching a competitive team win in a great game. Please stop trying to help give TOR and MTL “home” advantage in these games.
