  1. I probably should’ve stated my question better. I see the “top line” is Skins - ERod - Samson, but other than one being listed positionally as the center of that line, are any of them actually playing the designated spot positionally, or are they all kind of doing it together? They are all technically “wingers,” right?
  2. Is someone actually playing center on the top line, or are they just kinda doing a “center by committee” approach?
  3. It means he’s been suspected of gambling on his own teams games, and may not be eligible for the HOF.
  4. That, and other teams potentially targeting the “injured area” once he returns.
  5. Is this a thread discussing a game that happened last year? I am confused.
  6. I watched it. It was boring.
  7. Well, now we finally know what the team did that day HCPH infamously cancelled a practice right before the season began.
  8. I don’t think it’s a thing anymore. The team had one a couple years ago, and my gf at the time and I were one of the only ones in the entire crowd who actually dressed up.
  9. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so challenged by the space bar in a post.
  10. HCPH again, failing to either use a timeout or change goalies. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️
  11. I’d be for a royal blue and gold goat head, whichw ould NEVER happen. (Photo provided not royal blue enough
  12. Xmas is over. Hope everyone on SS got what they asked Santa for, other than a Stanley Cup, which doesn’t come in December. Buffalo skates into STL to face their old locker room cancer, ROR. Can Sobotka and Tage show him up? Sabres (21-11-5, 111GF and 105GA) are 4th in the Eastern out of 16 teams. Blues (14-6-4, 96GF, 114GA) are 13th out of 15 in the Western. The Blues have dominated the Sabres for the better part of two decades. Since 1999, St. Louis has a 17-3-4 record against Buffalo, including 9-1-2 in the last 12 meetings. The Sabres haven’t beaten the Blues in St. Louis since Dec. 27, 2009. (TAKE NOTE OF TODAYS DATE) G Game day rules have been suspended for awhile now. The ONLY game day rule that stays in effect is: MUST WIN. The more must win comments, the better.
  13. I still have one. It’s boxed away with my 2600 and a whole bunch of games. Outlaw was my jam.
  14. This was my first one. I still have the second one I had in storage somewhere.
  15. Rick Jeanneret IS the Sabres. He was there before me. As a kid, I fell asleep listening to his broadcasts in bed on my clock radio. He’s pretty much a family member to me. I was lucky to go to the game when he was inducted to their HOF with Hawerchuk. I actually had tears in my eyes, which doesn’t happen often.
  16. Awwww. That brought tears to my eyes. May have even rejuvenated my long-lost belief in Santa Claus.
  17. I don’t know who he is, but I thought his under-the-breath comments amusing. Also, whoever was trying to bash Lehner, good for him. Only allowed 1 goal in 4 of his last 5 games. Good for him.
  18. I haven’t seen it. Please link me.
  19. Then, when Detroit lost in OT, sidekick could be heard mumbling “oh my God.”
  20. Laffs tying the game with 7 seconds left, after playing a fairly lousy game. Love the Detroit PBP announcers sidekick, who sounds like Alan Thicke, who could be heard mumbling “are you serious?”
  21. Did I miss the Xmas card/letter that was getting sent to the Pegulas? ?
  22. IIRC, didn’t the trade also include “a player to be named later,” which we never got? The Rangers still owe us a player.
  23. Praying for RJ and his family.
