Reino was never a “Buffalo” type of player that fans would ever love, from the day he was drafted (I was hoping for Draisatl). I’m surprised he was your favorite.

Kane isnt walking in a year. He waived his NMC to come here. He made it clear he wanted to end his career in Buff.

If Chicago wants the cap space, and Kane has the NMC and wants to come here, then you don’t have to give up much. And screw waiting another year, secure his services now for cheap. He brings points, and can help show the rookies what it takes to succeed. Give them VO and/or Johnson, and a 3rd rounder. No use for VO if Kane will be here. I know goalie is what we need most, and this helps address it by making Buffalo a more attractive option.

What did he do more of than any other AHL rookie Sabres prospect in history?

I’m not so sure about that. I think there’s a good chance he might be spending a little more time in the A.

What a crazy game. I don’t know about the players, but I’m exhausted. Half the crowd was gone by the time 3rd OT started. Quinn was a huge disappointment all game, and all playoffs. Would be going to a game Friday if Murray didn’t take that bonehead penalty at the end of the 3rd.
