Totally deserved that one. We had the puck in their zone with Jack down low battling and everyone else completely gave up on the play instead of being aggressive and trying to retain possession. Then we let them go through the neutral zone with no pressure, and enter our zone with all the Sabres backing off. This team needs to be more aggressive on the puck and have better value of having possession.

All I’ve been seeing this period is the Sabres allowing the Flames to easily enter the zone with zero pressure or pushback. Thats going to be the difference in the game.

I missed the 1st. The 2nd - my first time seeing the Flames this season. Are they like this at all times, every game? When they don’t have the puck, they aggressively want it back immediately. No giving space or time to the Sabres. Almost like their brains are trained to just say “puck, puck, puck” whenever they don’t have it. Impressive. Also, I’m very impressed with how well Linus tracks the puck.

Reading this reminded me of The Dead Zone.

Seeing an improved power play from the Sabres would be nice.

Why is this still going on? None of you can just stop it and move on?
