Didn't expect them to win much first 10 games, certainly seeing the opponents we are facing. But was hoping for some more clear offense and more confidence in the offensive zone, just not seeing that at the moment.

I saw that happen to alot of vets to, Moulson, Ennis, O'Reilly, they were all getting outworked. -
If he is out a month I'd go with Makarov or Lieuwen. If he is missing half the season pick up whatever of the 3 goalies Calgary sends through waivers.

The cast looks bad, but that is always done to play safe. But do think he'll be out a couple of games atleast. I never hated it, I thought it was a trade we can only judge in a year or so but if legwand turns out to be the best part of this deal everyone will hate it :P

If Calgary askes more than a 4th rounder for hiller, I'd just play Makarov and wait for them to waive one of their goalies.

Yeah but seemed to me Weber and Franson looked alot worse.

That would be nice but they gave up Lack already, I think they want two goalies that can play in the NHL. Hiller would be nice but wouldn't do more than a 4th rounder seeing his UFA status. They are carrying 3 goalies up to this point, might even be able to pick him off waivers.

Yeah you lose your TO. That is why every team now has someone in the press box looking for correct challenges. This will slow the game down so much :sick: Huge turnover on the second Ottawa goal though. Didn't think Colaiacovo looked bad but was wondering what McCabe couldn't do in his place. Franson looked like a pilon, and weber got away with the mistakes he made (like fanning on a puck right after the eichel goal leading to a huge Ottawa chance). Gorges is Gorges and on stacked Defense he is your #6 Kane and Eichel got better when Girgensons moved into Reinharts spot. Hope Reinhart needs a bit more sheltered minutes on the 3rd line I guess. Moulson seemed a bit lost in the offensive zone, but his whole line didn't click there.

I can't see Guhle staying though. But yeah weber, gorges and especially franson are slow. But franson positions himself well mostly though, except with that first goal.
