If we come home with 6 medals we will have had a good run. already got the gold in Cycling , which is surprising, everyone had nibali from Italy pegged. but a lot fell down in the final descent. Sailing will give us a medal probably, judo , hockey , will see :p

Vermette has been bought out by the yotes. They must think they don't have a spot for him with Strome and Dvorak probably coming up. Might be nice to add him in a legwand kind of role.

I'm a fan, I think those that are against in him do so because he made some risky trades. The ones I don't see darcy ever making. Most seem to have issues with the following trades. 1st round pick for Lehner and Legwand, would love legwand back in a 4C/PK role. the trade for kane and bogo, the kane off ice issues do make this trade look bad at this point, he was supposed to be the best player in the trade. And the 3rd round pick for vessey, some might feel its a waste, but with the amount of prospects we have its not a waste at all. don't think you'll find many who are soured on our GM on this board though.

Actually we have had a wave of moderate right wing political parties gaining up to 25% of European votes 10 years ago, couple that with far right parties hovering around 10 % for 20 years already. Europeans are sick of uncontrolled immigration, but the latest attacks will make more votes go to the far right parties ( like Lega nord (Italy), Front national (france), vlaams belang (Belgium) .

I would be surprised if he makes the team, but as of now there still is a glaring hole in our top 6 lw. Don't see the two spots being filled by kane/ennis.

Those nash rumours been around for a quite a while, he would make sense though. Yes his contract is :sick: , but he can still put up points and would be a good 2nd line LW. His possesion stats are good and he would complement Reinhart and Eichel well and his contract comes off the books when we have to start paying the kids. edit: Don't think we would have to give much in return though, if the rags want him gone he should be almost for free :p

Not saying yes, would have to get free from work and not flying over for a week vacation. But very interested in trying some buffalo wings :D @ modo how would you fly over ? I'd probably take a brussels airlines flight Brussels - Toronto. But there are probably cheaper ways :P would have to pay around 500 € in march, that isn't to bad.
