    read the about the bruins , not the sabres though. But this off season been pretty hectic when it comes to trade speculation.

    Said this already in the Kulikov thread, Murray blind sided us with that one, no one saw it coming. he runs a tight ship and if anything does leak out, I'm starting to believe it won't happen. Excited myself to see what else he can come up with to improve our D and a top 6 winger. In the end we would really have to look where we would fit Stamkos anyway, I would have put him on O'reilly's wing.

    Him and Gorges in our bottom 6 wouldn't be to bad. Gorges is the stay at home D he can use next to him and teach him.

    Jon is a danger for Littlefinger and Varys, He has stark and Targaryen blood, don't know how much both men are in the loop on that and will be interesting to see.

    Vanek will sign with the sabres 2x3 mill because #ZFG and he'll put up 30 goal seasons.

    Pretty sure he has several things going on to try to improve this team still, but he is always very candid, some talks work out but most do not. He probably has been working on the Kulikov deal for over a year now, while also talking to Anaheim about Fowler. Also Pysyk for Kulikov straight up is a pretty cheap trade for us. I look at it this way because the pick swap was just an extra deal you can find at any draft.

    Was thinking the same yesterday, he might want to get a good fanbase going there.

    The thing I like most about this trade is that it blind sided us. Kulikov was rumoured to be on the trade block, but no where buffalo was being mentioned. Means Murray runs a tight ship and everything that is being reported on usually is bull.

    Agreed, but if you can sign Stamkos you add 40 goals a season, you just do it. Also don't think GMTM is willing to pay 12 mill a year to Stamkos. I think we have all come at a point where we say, If he signs great (added bonus to see Toronto go apeshit) , If he doesn't (move on other options out there to improve).
