Like I said when he was a Sabre, worst case he bottoms out as a 3C. Colorado fans love his defensive game, his offensive game is still lacking though. The kid is 22 years old, most kids picked #12 in the first round are just about to sniff the NHL.

another 20 goal score would be ace on this team, but the kid has a lot to prove in the NHL still. Between Carle 2006 and Gaudreau 2014 there are a lot of failed hobey baker winners. (Blake Geoffrion career got cut short, but doubt he would have made a solid NHL career.)

Gorges and Franson on the same pairing, that seems a bit to slow. If we got Fowler I'd do this. Kulikov - Risto Fowler - Bogo McCabe - Nelson Gorges Your PP unit is off I think, Saw a couple of PP goals from Okposo from last year. He mans the point it seems.

Got Kulikov and McCabe to round out the top 4 , don't need him any more. If we do get Fowler then franson has to go and Gorges becomes our 7th D.

I still don't get the Nilsson trade, Enroth is the better goalie here and probably had no issues coming back to buffalo. GMTM likes big goalies, and there are some questions with the new equipment size. But I also read a couple of months ago big goalies might have issues with low shots now because of the equipment change. Hope I'm wrong, but if Lehner doesn't pan out, we will have to call up Ullmark and hope he does. Because I don't have any faith in Nilsson being any good as a starter or back up even. He should have just contacted Enroth and be done with it.

Well if DD keeps up with what he said last year than jack and samson won't be broken up. Ennis - O'Reilly - Okposo is a nice line.
