I'm all for trading a top 3 pick for Hannifin. Would be a fair trade to, Hurricanes need a top 6 center badly, we could use that top 4 LHD. And seeing Hannifin has had a poor season, don't think we should add much even.

Nope, they can basically sign Bishop for free, grubauer , fleury, Reimer and other better options out there. LV will pick between larsson, girgenson or carrier, whoever we expose. The only thing that might happen we trade Bogo, and they ask for Ullmark as compensation, but I really don't see it.

I understand why GMTM wasn't so happy to answer questions about Okposo. The guy is still recovering and there are rumours on other boards he might be done playing in the NHL.

Was thinking lately about Eichel's comment about players not putting in effort, not working out as they should. You know the first two that came in my mind, Samson ( not doing the O'reilly practice), and kane not even bothering to warm up before a game. They are also the two players he knows best I think.

GMTM is not going to talk to media right after player interviews and say yes I'm going to fire the coach or hint that he doesn't like what he did. He is not that type of person, you talk to your coach first. :P

1) you don't buy out gorges, you keep him around as 7th D, buying him out will make us pay for him the next 3 years instead of just 1. 2) Hunwick, seidenberg, engelland quincey, rather sign kulikov again than any of those 3) none of them have shown me to be better than Gionta , well maybe rodrigues. 4) none of those will get you a puck moving D. Foligno I'd love to get back, Larsson and Girgensons seem expendable. And I really like Larsson as our 4C. 5) Fehr might be a good option here to. 6) I don't mind Vanek, and he actually wants to come back, but I'd slot him next to Eichel and put Nylander with O'reilly and Okposo. Nylander - O'Reilly - Okposo Vanek - Eichel - Rodrigues Kane - Reinhart - Bailey ( I really thought they looked good when they played together) Foligno - Larsson - Gionta ( he will be resigned) Girgensons More realistic D :P Mind you though, adding Alzner and Stone via UFA will most likely cost us an extra 9 mill in salary. Antipin might be a cheaper option if he signs. Alzner - Risto McCabe - Stone Guhle - Bogo Gorges/Falk well depends if Guhle can crack this roster

Iginla actually did pretty well for the kings, its the rest of the team that just sucked all year.

Can only hope the player interviews were so bad for bylsma it leaves murray with no choice.

The only contract that worries me is Bogo, he really needs to play better because we are not getting rid of that one. Gorges is just one more year, Ennis isn't that bad either, and the moulson buy out is pretty cheap.

he'll be like that again when he is in buffalo :P If I was lindy , I'd probably be looking at retirement. Then again the smile he gets when he is looking at the sabres on that computer screen tells me he loves this team so much he won't pass up on another shot at coaching them. I'm probably not seeing things to clear when it comes to ruff, only really started watching the sabres in 2006, so ruff still can't do much wrong as a coach for me. Bylsma getting fired will be fine for me though :P

Florida when I was 8 :p Some of us went into mini tank mode last two games, gained us 5 spots in the draft by losing these two.

In hindsight, a very weak draft: maatta, ceci, teravainen, vasilevsky, pearson those would have been it in the first round. 2nd round i'm only finding Brock McGin, 3rd ghost, Matt Murray and Andersen, parayko (damn what a steal) 4th round Slavin (another steal ).

That 2012 draft really set us back, we had 2 mid first round draft picks Grigs and Gus. Oh man was I excited at the time of getting grigorenko, always saw him as a 3C maybe 2C (when needed). Now both might be lucky to still be in the NHL in 3 years. but we still got McCabe, Ullmark and maybe Austin ( he seems servicable a bit), then again a lot of teams missed on that draft :p Ullmark hasn't been that bad for being shelled that much in the AHL I think.

If cal petersen signs, we have no use for Nilsson, unless Ulmark gets nabbed at expension which I highly doubt. Veins Veins Veins :p
