Talking about KO, if he can't play hockey never again, that contract might be useful for Vegas to reach the cap floor the first year.

Tim Murray and Dan Byslma Have Been Fired
Huckleberry replied to Mustache of God's topic in The Aud Club
We would have made the playoffs next year with just two additions on D, wasn't his fault. -
I could say, she is all over the internet, but seriously HF boards made me remove that avatar :p And thanks guys, just wanted to share how much I love being on this board and watching the sabres and hear RJ go bananas. :) And I've learned a lot about this team and its history by just being on here.

Kane is off to vegas with bogo :p

Still I wouldn't have mind seeing murray get another shot for one more year. Especially with the expansion draft, pretty sure he had a deal or two in place with vegas. A new gm will have to start over again, and McPhee owed murray a favour still. -
Took me all day to recover, but never get any headaches. was drinking non stop from 21.00 until 05.00. Same for me, joined here in 2011. Would be lovely to have them win a playoff series, preferably against the leafs. :D

Mostly a Canadian/German battlefield, what I like about the sabres to, some Canadian influence in the family :P Edit: I'll go to bed now, done sobering up, lets hope for no hangover in the afternoon.

I'm only a bit drunk, but I felt the need to tell you all something. I think some of you wondered, why someone like me is a sabres fan. I have barely a clue myself, 17 years ago I bought EA NHL2000. I took a look a 30 teams, had a fuss with my twin brother and told him, off we are picking the Buffalo sabres because it looks way cooler. Still a fan of the goathead :D There were only 3 good players on that team, Hasek, Peca and Satan , but man Audette, Sanderson could fly, borwn and barnes, grosek. I even loved Smelhlik, Varada, Zhitnik (funny thing my brother hated that he couldn't hit nothign with him) , McKee on that team. fell in love and I kept playing with the sabres over and over again. 2006 - 2008 , well I started following the sabres live more and more and then this happened. I got chills all over me, the excitement, RJ, I wanted to see as many live games and needed to know more. RJ made me fell in love with sabres more. I tried a lot of boards, most rejected me for some strange reason, Even HF boards and basically this was the only one to let me join (I'm not kidding, most of them had user Issues from my country/provider :p ). I joined in the summer of 2011. But I'm glad this was the first one that let me in, I learned a lot from you guys about the team I love. And I still consider all of you as some sort of online family. We have all been through a lot the last couple of years, but I'm starting to feel we all are a band of brothers. There are a lot of boards, well 3 years later they all let me join, this one compares to none, you guys are ace. We all have had Issues, discussions and in the end we all love this team, we are in a rough spot right now. But whatever happens to this team, I know there are all off you hoping for the best to happen. But what impresses me most about this board is how all of you stick together in hard times, some of you know each other personally, others do not. When someone goes through a rough time in his personal life, its not easy to say on a fan board, but it happens here and multiple times and I have seen all supporting that person. Just wanted to say this a rough time, but whatever happens with the sabres, this board still hangs together like glue. And that means a lot more than what happens with this team to me.

PA was right: the Terry Pegula press conference thread.
Huckleberry replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
Don't know if it has been stated before, but PA was wrong. He was right that TP is a fan/owner. But PA also stated often that he was a meddling owner which he didn't do up till now, hell he even didn't choose the last GM and coach. so let me say this clearly PA was wrong :p -
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2704897-linesman-don-henderson-reportedly-files-lawsuit-against-flames-dennis-wideman Well The linesman filed a lawsuit against flames and wideman, good for him was a dick move and I still think it was intentional.

The journalists who still bring Eichel up as a reason this is happening  -
No avatar, luckily your opinion doesn't matter :p Seriously no thanks to both.

1st for Lehner, I have no problem with if he becomes our #1 goalie for years to come. Also we didn't really have a goalie and didn't know what Ullmark, Johansson, petersen would turn into. The only one I regret in giving up was JT compher in the O'Reilly trade for basically one year of McGinn. Zadorov I don't count because you have to give to get. Kane for Myers + Lemieux would have been enough I guess, taking on Bogo's contract  . Really hope Bogo turns it around.

Moulson bought out, bogo traded for a bag of pucks. -
Kassian trade paying big dividends right now for Oilers...
Huckleberry replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
Buddy of mine told me funny story about when he was on vacation with friends years ago. They went out drinking until 05.00 am, and in the morning at breakfast they were waiting on one of their friends and his wife to show up but they didn't. Turns out at night while drunk he took a ###### in the bidet and his solution to clean the mess up: he ordered breakfast in his hotel room so he could have a fork to jam all the ###### down. -
So what will we talk about on this thread ? Pancakes ? eggs ?

Its also an Illusion the leafs started their rebuild a year later than us. Yes they tanked a year later than us, but all the pieces of their team are drafted way back since 2012. Can go farther back if you count in Kadri and Bozak. -

Nope, and I still don't think it was a bad trade. -

Like I said before, Pegula probably already has had some contacts with possible replacements. Wouldn't surprise me if there is VP of hockey operations sitting next to him tomorrow. That doesn't seem like Murray at all, its more likely he gave some honest answers about the rebuild taking another two years longer and then got fired. Really that 2014 draft screwed him over more than anything in my mind. Players from that draft should have been in Rochester by now. -

That 2014 draft really was bad though, except for Samson and Johansson. He drafted Lemieux whom they interviewed but didn't notice he didn't want to be in Buffalo. I wanted Barbashev instead of Lemieux. And the rest of that draft won't even make Rochester I think. 2015-2016 drafts are the ones we'll cash in. But they are 2 - 3 years away from becoming a sabre. (guhle excluded). -
I want a gm that doesn't trade away our assets, a gm that lets the young guys develop that we drafted the last two years. And we really drafted some good young guys in later rounds. 2015 Guhle, Estephan, Borgen, Stephens. I think Stephens and Estephan will be in Rochester next year. 2016 Asplund and Pu might make our bottom 6 better , Fitzgerald and Hagel also doing well. 10 players in the last two drafts that have a reasonable shot at making the NHL, I hope the new GM will just let them develop. Guess Fenton of Nashville is my #1 choice.

I do like the Dudley - Fenton - Housley that some mentioned. -

I kind of feel bad for murray, but both Rochester and Buffalo sucking again. If Rochester would have shown some promise he might have been able to stay. I do like the last two drafts he did, we got some good late round prospects coming up. If murray really backed Bylsma, then I'm not sad to see him go. And I really liked Murray, his honesty was refreshing and I liked his humour. Also wouldn't be surprised if Pegula already has a replacement GM in mind. -
