What I like most about this final that its pretty much offense VS defense. Penguins defense is bare, and Nashville gets most of its offense from their defenders. Will be interesting to see if crosby and malkin can do something about the predators D.

Most redrafts I read have guhle still between 20 - 28 spot which is excellent in a very deep draft. Biggest jump is made by garland (coyotes pick at 123rd), then Guhle who was picked at 58th.

I'm still saying the 2014 partially screwed murray over, 2015 and 2016 are very promising though.

I don't think we should look any more where Guhle was drafted, he is becoming one of the steals of his draft year. I saw a redraft a year after and most had him in the top 20 already, and we are now a year later. I don't think he would look out of place in our top 6. But in the NHL he wouldn't get big minutes and we would have to use him on the bottom pair to start, in the AHL he immediately gets the big minutes. Anyway, if he is in the AHL I don't see him lasting more than 20 games there, kid is just good.

Only real issue to me is if he wants to be in buffalo long term. If he asks for 7x7 you just simply walk away and trade him, he is not worth more than 5.5 to me. edit: and at 5.5 I still want him scoring 30 a year because its one of few things he is good at. That and banging his body around and maybe a fight here and there.

I don't think he is a locker room cancer, what happened with the jets doesn't seem to be happening here. It was his antics outside of the arena that made him look bad and will probably get him traded. I would want at least a 1st round pick + a young D prospect 1 - 2 years away from NHL duty.

very weak 5 vs 5 stats. He is like 74th in even scoring, usually those guys get picked in the 5th round. We are picking Glass or Liljegren I think though.

Was thinking during the season when he went down again, thank god we didn't give him that mega contract.
