So deals that seem to be happening right now CBJ giving their 1st 24 OA , clarkson contract and one of murray, calvert. NYI giving their 1st 15 OA, for LV to take on Grabhovksi contract and kulemin. ( seems a bit cheep for those two contracts) TBL probably giving a 2nd and a prospect for LV to take garrison. Don't think they can take any more heavy contracts.

this and the clarkson deal should take care of that easy and gives them 3 1st rounders already.

They won't have issues to get to floor, TBL will give them something to take garrison. you pick fleury as your goalie, and they have a deal for the clarkson contract already. and everyone keeps forgetting they signed this guy already Vadim Shipachyov 4.5 mill cap hit you have to count for.

I had a real hard time staying under the cap at first, depends on who you take I guess.

I was optimistic last year, even with byslma, but that completely drained me, not expecting much tbh.

They already signed a college kid and that russian guy. But the 8 mill I got spare does some good. Contracts I would take on are Garrison and Johnson Steals: Methot (OTT), Nelson (NYI), Rychel (TOR) , Smith (FLO) Nesterov (MTL) , Van Riemsdyk (CHI) Was really hard to stay under cap, so I really doubt they can take on more than one bad contract, unless they go for cheap goalie options. then we might have to fear for Ullmark.

damn the list I put up in other thread put me 6 mill over the cap. ###### that I'm not adding brown now, I get it would cost a 1st for sure now. No way I can see LV add more than one of those contracts.

Las Vegas is in such a good position now, they can just pick up Vatanen, Brodin, Ryan Murray, Pysyk, methot, harmonic, enstrom and start with a better D than ours :blink:

The only thing they could want is one of our goalies, ( can see them go after fleury and grubauer first though). Players that will be open for them to grab are Moulson, gorges, Bogo , ennis.

Again don't want Tanev, that is like getting Bogo 2.0 on your team. Always injured.

I wouldn't mind Girardi on a bottom role, but no way I'm paying him 3 mill then. Upgrade over Gorges for sure, but you don't give him another pay day.

get Ruff as assistant, if he got offers to be an assistant somewhere else, he might as well be on in buffalo again.

This off season might be weird, Sabres were rumoured to be making a bis splash out west. Always figured it would be with the kings and for EK. But what if this happens. Reinhart + #8 for Kane . I don't give them more because its still a heavy contract with a salary cap that doesn't go up like Chicago gambled it would 4 years ago. Evander Kane gets traded to LA for #11 and D. Sign Bonino as UFA, seems we have interest there to. Eichel - RoR - Bonino I could live with.

I fully expect a surprise like Ruff or Kreuger happening.

Ruff has been rumoured to have been contacted to become an assistant coach. I wonder if we pick Housley as HC, we could use an experienced assistant coach ourselves.

Still think Krueger would be a good fit.
