I can see his agent asking for more than what Eichel got. But Nylander is their best player I think and could command around the same, and they still got marner. No way they can keep Kadri and Marleau on board by then. Nice video :D

Puts real pressure on the flames and Calgary to get a new arena deal. Bettman is slick though, that new arena gives him the option of moving out the Panthers or Islanders to the west and having a spot in the east for the Nordiques.

Best thing is , Toronto fans are now wondering how they'll pay Matthews ( he'll ask for more), Marner and Nylander :p 10.5 mill was my high mark though, his agent can tell me he left money on the table, but in my mind he would have signed for 9.5 mill then.
