Also this Montreal team doesn't impress me at all, only one that scared me was byron with his speed. Could have been up by 3 if we could have capitalised on the juicy rebounds Lindgren laid out for us in the 1st period. Montreal is playing tank style sabres bad, dump and chase and fire shots from all angles at the goalie. but they do have the speed for it.

Bottom six role for sure, but he has been very good on defense. We started to play as sloppy as Montreal.

He made some good saves, but Montreal mostly shooting from the perimeter.

I was just looking at our goal, I don't like Nolan , but hell yeah creat some havoc infront of the goalie. He blurs the line of sight , and kyle redirects it nicely, that is just basic hockey sense I wish some more of our attacks had. Go stand in front of the goalie , sacrifice your freaking body.

All I think is what I see, Imagine if we had a Karlsonn on our D, with Risto, Scandella and McCabe, and our bottom pair is Guhle - Antipin. yeah I'm going full tank mode.

Guhle is playing well in rochester now, lets keep him there and develop him. Tennyson really isn't that good, I'd take falk and fedun over him all the time. Personally I wonder what type of injury Bogo has, seems there is more going than the team is letting out.

Though I would love Samson as a 3C, I am starting to believe they are playing him at center to see what trade value he has. A lot of team are devoid at young C and he could get us a bit of a haul.

Wish I could see more sabres games, I don't watch any sports besides NHL any more. I know we suck at the moment, but I want to see more games and see this team get better. This is my expectation every last two years and each year I hope for more, but this year struck me hard because we all are being let down more. I'm going to be honest, when times got rough since I joined this forum, you guys always had humour, we could laugh it off, bad game again , tank mode whatever. And I expected the same thing all over again this year, but seems we all had it rough lately, and my sabres sanctuary has an influx of pessimism I'm not used to. The latest Influx is also affecting some of you old school people on here, and I hope we can all get through it soon.

Before the season I would have put Kane and pommer with Samson. Thought Eichel could handle his own line, but he needs the help from Kane and Pommer. he is not carrying that line at all. Kane, Scandella, RoR, Pouliot , Lehner were solid tonight. Can't say much bad about our D even.

of to bed I think, not a bad game though. That Okposo contract looks a bit ugly now though, he seems slower than last year, also something weird with his balance on his skates.

We have a lot of shots, but they aren't dangerous, we need to bother the goalie more. A lot of perimiter long range shots.
