    That is why I said earlier, only of O'Reilly gets traded you have room for him.

    I agree Lehner is an asset that will be moved seeing the goalies we got in our system. But he his an NHL starter, there are teams having a far worse #1 in goal.

    Out of all the young forwards being send down, he sure is a nice surprise. Bailey and Baptiste are losing ground.

    He still is on their bottom pairing though, but he is racking up points, I call it trade bait.

    I'll be as bold as this, If O'Reilly is traded by the deadline, JT will be with us. Edit: I have a feeling he will be gone.

    The only thing keeping carolina a live is that stadium lease that has any new owner tied down for 6 more years. Unless you are rich enough to pay the fine that is :p

    If you sign Tavares, you trade O'Reilly and get some D in return from Anaheim or Carolina. Might even still have room to sign Kane + Samson depending on what they want. Don't know why you think Ristolainen would be traded though ????

    Still think Reinhart for Hannifin makes sense. Both are struggling, both don't have room for them on the roster. Samson is a bottom 6 player and Hannifin is a bottom pair D at the moment. They would both fill out needs the other team has.

    The league know Carolina isn't lasting and the Islanders are in deep . QC is getting a cheap deal.
