    The only thing keeping carolina a live is that stadium lease that has any new owner tied down for 6 more years. Unless you are rich enough to pay the fine that is :p

    If you sign Tavares, you trade O'Reilly and get some D in return from Anaheim or Carolina. Might even still have room to sign Kane + Samson depending on what they want. Don't know why you think Ristolainen would be traded though ????

    Still think Reinhart for Hannifin makes sense. Both are struggling, both don't have room for them on the roster. Samson is a bottom 6 player and Hannifin is a bottom pair D at the moment. They would both fill out needs the other team has.
