  1. I think unlike all the speculation, Risto comes with a high price tag as he should, and that will keep most trades away. Ristolainen is pretty much off limits. The Trouba deal has got to many thinking he'll come cheap, but Jets were back up against the wall with that one.
  2. They need more offense from their middle six, starting with getting a 2nd line.
  3. Larsson - Zemgus - Berglund was one of the best 4th lines I seen play for the sabres in years. Okposo and mainly Sobotka really dragged them down.
  4. I don't know how much more scoring you expect from your 4th line though Zemgus 5+13=18 / Johan 6+8=14 Boston Nordstrom 5+7=12 Grzelcyk 3+15=18
  5. Secondary scoring needs to come from your 2nd and 3rd line. They did what they were supposed to do last year, our 4th line often flipped the ice so the next shift could get a start in the offensive zone.
  6. I don't think either, besides his flaws I would keep him to, can't replace him unless Borgen and Laaksonen suddenly show up. as for the #7 pick Turcotte will fall to us.
  7. I think the both of them had a decent season and weren't really the problem, they are 2/3 of a decent 4th line.
  8. I think the Hawks will draft Cozens or Byram.
  9. Matt duchene's dreams right now
  10. I don't like trading our players when they are about to hit their prime, will he ever be more than this ? will have to be a huge offer to make me happy about trading him.
  11. Virtanen is pretty much a bust for a former 6th overal pick. He isn't anything more than a bottom 6 guy I think.
  12. If Risto is going to the canucks, Horvat is coming back at least I hope.
  13. A contract that ups the value of Ristolainen , he is looking real cheap now. Maybe we should keep him around lol.
  14. Well I did think 4 mill a year for McCabe was a bit much, but if you sign long term you overpay a bit. Doubt he'll go 6x3 though.
  15. I would rather keep him myself to , give him a 6x4mil deal even.
  16. https://bluelinestation.com/2019/06/16/new-york-rangers-blueshirts-return-jimmy-vesey/ Option 1 : McCabe ( I think he has more value than Vesey, so the rags need to sweeten the pot) Option 2 : Scandella ( I throw in a 3rd rounder for them to take him)
  17. Think I'd rather have Scandella lol
  18. 25 goals and 25 assists this year , book it ?
  19. I became a fan when they wore the goathead, and I still love the jerseys.
  20. At least good to see Jbott didn't trade for him.
  21. We also have enough players that fall over at the slightest push.
  22. Wodka tampons sound more appealing than those two ?
  23. There is much better to celebrate with than Guinness.
  24. I don't mind the first round pick coming back for O'Reilly , Even thompson in the deal is ok. But if I'm Jbott I never do a deal with Armstrong again, he shafted buffalo by adding Berglund. Who he knew always had a list of teams he didn't want to go to. Buffalo probably was on that list and if he had informed the player the deal would have not gone through seeing he would have taken the first flight home most likely. At the time I thought it was good deal seeing we got two serviceable middle six players back in my mind. But neither should be playing in the NHL ever again. What we gave up to get him and McGinn. 2nd round pick / zadorov (bottom 4 LHD) / Grigorenko (KHL but looked at as 3C at the time) / Compher (middle six C/W). So basically we are down a middle six player to make it a good trade for us. The picks are close in each others neighbourhood.
  25. I didn't know who I wanted to win. I mean boston, ***** them. The O'Reilly thing didn't make me want to root for them, but being a buffalo fan and all, the fans of that team deserve a Stanley cup just like we do. I hope they close it tonight, my drunk clarity i guess ?
