Are the Sabres switching to Royal Blue for their Jerseys?
Huckleberry replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I became a fan when they wore the goathead, and I still love the jerseys. -
At least good to see Jbott didn't trade for him.
-
We also have enough players that fall over at the slightest push.

Wodka tampons sound more appealing than those two ?

There is much better to celebrate with than Guinness.

I don't mind the first round pick coming back for O'Reilly , Even thompson in the deal is ok. But if I'm Jbott I never do a deal with Armstrong again, he shafted buffalo by adding Berglund. Who he knew always had a list of teams he didn't want to go to. Buffalo probably was on that list and if he had informed the player the deal would have not gone through seeing he would have taken the first flight home most likely. At the time I thought it was good deal seeing we got two serviceable middle six players back in my mind. But neither should be playing in the NHL ever again. What we gave up to get him and McGinn. 2nd round pick / zadorov (bottom 4 LHD) / Grigorenko (KHL but looked at as 3C at the time) / Compher (middle six C/W). So basically we are down a middle six player to make it a good trade for us. The picks are close in each others neighbourhood.

The 2019 Stanley Cup Final. St Louis vs Boston
Huckleberry replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I didn't know who I wanted to win. I mean boston, ***** them. The O'Reilly thing didn't make me want to root for them, but being a buffalo fan and all, the fans of that team deserve a Stanley cup just like we do. I hope they close it tonight, my drunk clarity i guess ? -
Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
Huckleberry replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
And the consequences are still here for all of Europe. Until this day, wild boar meat in Europe is highly radioactive https://www.theverge.com/2017/2/24/14733094/radioactive-pigs-boars-czech-republic-central-europe-germany-chernobyl There are many products in Europe that are radioactive, especially mushrooms, tea leaves, hazelnuts. But its being kept quiet just like Chernobyl never happened. Even the higher level of radioactivity was barely communicated to people in Europe back in the day. -
I pretty much nailed it ?
-
I don't think its bad to have this kind of prospect in the wings, we can't have all our 1st rounders in the NHL at age 18/19. I keep looking at TBL core and see most made the jump at 23.

Is Reinhart the answer at Second Line Center?
Huckleberry replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Would at least be a much cheaper option then signing a UFA C. And we can invest that in some wingers for our top 9 group. -
Is Reinhart the answer at Second Line Center?
Huckleberry replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I have said many times I want to give Samson at 2C a decent shot, we need to bring in decent wingers though. RW zuccarello/Nyquist LW Ferland , I really don't like many options here, Panarin and Skinner are the two top big UFA left wingers, the rest I wouldn't touch. And even Ferland I feel like just had a big year, don't know if he can repeat it. He'll want a 4 mill aav , and I wouldn't give that to him. edit: maybe go for Marcus johansson or Lee or trade burakovsky. -
they can have our 2nd round pick.
-
will be signed on friday.
-
The fact he will be in the KHL for two more years might make some teams not want him, but if he is in the same tier as Turcotte and Byram you take him at 7. Whoever we pick will be 1-2 years from becoming an NHL player anyway.
-
I can see Byram being a nice target for colorado, they can put him and makar together for years to come.

Never expected it to be this bad at work. Just got promoted along with another colleague. We both do our jobs well but are also the first ones that don't get any training, usually new people get training for a month in that position. You always expect some not being to happy about it, having a few knives in my back already. Not that I care much, I keep quiet for now and customers keep saying we are breath of fresh air at the position and management backs us up very well. But ***** there will be a day soon I'm going to put some people in their place, but as one of the 'new guys' I suck it up and keep it all to myself for now.

Sam Reinhart's bridge deal and his long term outlook.
Huckleberry replied to nfreeman's topic in The Aud Club
I think Samson is sneakily being the best player on the team, He drives possession on any line. Jack is worser without him, he is the same without Jack. -
Podkolzin might be the one you want, just don't know much about him. I think if its between Boldy and Caufield at 7 we go Boldy.
-
8x9 is a year and a million more I wanted to, but I won't cry over it. Stone raised the market value, maybe skinner is less good for defense but he puts more pucks in the net.
-
I would say one season max, if he fails in the 1st round again he is gone for sure.
-
One thing I do like about Botts, he keeps things quiet. Except about Skinner, I think there are few moves in the works.
-
Yeah I would probably do it tbh.
-
He already has term, 5 years left. If we didn't have Okposo already I'd take a shot with him. Guess I wouldn't hate it completely.
