Well it depends, Sam got a 2 year deal and then a 1 year deal. We have 3 years to see where he lines up on his next contract. Should be time enough to figure things out.

The Duchene trade out of Colorado took 3 teams and more than a year to complete and Duchene at best was a 2C. If you want to take less than the Duchene trade for Eichel be my guest, but I rather have Eichel on the team in a year then.

I'm sure he will pop in now and then still.

That being said, does the Insurance company allow this surgery ? then the sabres really have not much say in this either.

Oh man last major snow I seen been 30 years ago. When I was 8 we still had 50cm some days. Now we are lucky to get 5cm one day a year and yeah I love the snow and miss it.

I just remeber I was 18 yrs old and playing NHL 2000 with my twin brother, goofing around and I told him lets watch some news. I know I felt mad about it for months after, and I still feel like the world has gotten worse. Both played on bottom 5 teams last 2 years but Gibson played 60% of the games and not below .090sv%, yeah I will take him over Ullmark right now and I love the potential of a healhty Linus but i just don't see after all those years and all the injuries.

Gibson is proven in the NHL and to be honest I would take 1st round pick less coming back for him in an Eichel trade. I see him as a cross between hasek and miller.

we still need cap back and to be honest I don't see much better coming up from our system and I do see him rebound easy with some good defenders before him. Power / Dahlin / drysdale / Joker / samuelson / bryson / miller might give you a good combo for him.
