  1. I watched this game
  2. It will be interesting to see if they sign any free agents. I'm cool waiting for the kids to mature into men, but I'd be happy if they over paid for a three year veteran who adds skill and toughness to the bottom six
  3. Seventh heaven for Leafs and Bruins! I missed game but highlights looked fun
  4. Well stated. Connects heartfelt nostalgia with the longing for better days, optimism fueled by Ruff's own past successes. Nice attempt to win Sabres fans to his "Journey" which he invites us on, promising his utmost efforts. He uses nice imagery, waving pom poms, deafening roars and more fans engaged than can fit in the arena.
  5. You can never have enough good d-men
  6. We did give up size and some toughness in giving up Casey. He could play along the boards really well.
  7. Sure, teams have ups and downs and most teams are not far apart in talent
  8. Toronto dominates and Bruins still tie it
  9. Florida looks like such a rough tough talented team. I can't imagine our Sabres playing like that now. We are not small, but not tough like that at all.
  10. We lost that series 0-4. Do I remember this right: LaFontain was hurt, Muckler played Grant Furh instead of the unknown Hasek, Mogilney broke his leg in game four and the Candiens won several of the games--maybe 3?--in OT. They then won the cup.
  11. Lukas Rousek, Viktor Neuchev, Zach Metsa, and Nikita Novikov totaled one assist each in the win. Devon Levi (1-0) made 35 saves in his postseason debut to become the first rookie goaltender to win a playoff game for Rochester since Andrey Makarov did so on May 2, 2014. Levi was also the first netminder to earn the win in his debut since Ryan Miller on April 20, 2005. https://www.amerks.com/games
  12. I love this call, too. "The Ottawa Sens season, has come...to...an...end" LOL
  13. Absolute classic!
  14. Poor Toronto, lol
