  1. Puny pads! Mask that probably would not stop a concussion.
  2. Joki and Gilmore killing penalties, Ralf sure has confidence in them
  3. Oh!! The boys look like they have come to play tonight!
  4. They did get a shut out, if that means anything. Here’s what was in the news today: Gilmour played 17:28 Friday while paired with Colin Miller. He had three shot attempts, two on goal, and a 53% Corsi rating at 5-on-5. There were no spectacular plays, no hideous gaffes. It would be easy to say it was a good thing that his game was not noticeable. But that wasn't really the case. Coach Ralph Krueger brought up Gilmour's play unprompted during his postgame meeting with reporters. "Often the players without points go lost and missing," Krueger said. "But if you look at Johnny Gilmour coming in after multiple weeks of not playing and playing at that level and that pace, we're really happy with the 'D' group today."
  5. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/air-force-x-37b-spaceplane-returns-to-earth-after-780-day-mission/ An unpiloted Air Force X-37B spaceplane, one of two winged orbiters used to carry out classified research, made a surprise landing at the Kennedy Space Center early Sunday to close out a record 780-day mission. It was the fifth flight in the secretive Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) program, pushing total time aloft to 2,865 days. "This program continues to push the envelope as the (Air Force's) only reusable space vehicle," Randy Walden, director of the Air Force's Rapid Capabilities
  6. I know he got lucky being able to draft Dahlin, but he’s really done an excellent job with-increasing the solid depth on defense. Now this Gilmore just steps in and plays well and we don’t miss a beat. Heck, we get a shut out. He’s even making sure to draft d-men which I like.
  7. Very sad to hear. Read the article and it sounds like a terrible ordeal to go through. Love his positive attitude and hope he indeed does live to tell the story of this. I can still hear RJs call from almost three decades ago, “Hawerchuk,, Day-Ill Hawerchuk! And the game is tied at one!” On a a related note, it’s just good to learn from from situations like this. Salt has been linked closely to stomach cancer. A few years ago I started watching my sodium intake and my goodness is it hard to avoid. If you are not watching how much you take in then you are mostly likely taking in too much. It’s in almost everything. Here is is an article on it: https://www.wcrf.org/int/blog/articles/2016/04/salt-shaking-link-stomach-cancer
  8. I know it’s early but Detroit looks like a turn over machine, lol Good!
  9. 3-0? I don't know what to say? They are over confident and Rangers are desperate
  10. I guess the defenseman went out on Broadway last night to party it up
